Three things stood out to me. I am a reddit newbie so I will just paraphrase because I did not find out how to copy and cite the parts 😅 The premise that being good in bed is the simplest way to get a girlfriend. If your relationship solely revolves around sex this might be true but in a relationship that is serious, the woman will take the time to let you learn even if you are a virgin. Sex is not the most important part in a serious relationship and treating it as if it is gives the picture as…

Perspective from a girl: When I ask if I can bring a friend it could have different reasons: Positive reasons: I want her to check you out because I managed to get myself into bad relationships before and trust her judgment I want to intruduce you two because you are a contender for a serious relationship and I want to figure out if you match with my friend circle she is in a very bad place right now so I want to get her mind off of things and still want to meet you. I want something serious and…

I totally agree with the main commentor. While I agree with the basic tactics the writer managed to sprinkle very mysogynistic comments through out wich makes it very weird to read. While this might thread might be true on the sexual level, it misses a lot of point on the personal level and makes many wrong assumptions, like sex is the key to a relationship: Sexual tension is but if a woman is truly interested in a relationship she is willing to teach you, even if you are a virgin!

It is not really about real disinterested but about focusing on other things above finding a mate. Hanging out and doing things without thinking about if it could lead to a relationship. Putting what you enjoy above your need of searching for a friend. When I was younger I sometimes needed to remind myself that I was at the party to have fun with my friends and not to find someone to get into a relationship with. Also focusing on meeting people because they are cool and interesting instead of th…

I chased after relationships hard during my teenage years and would always see my friends getting loads of attation from guys but for me it was quite stale... One day I figured out, that I was mostly interested in guys who seemed like they weren’t looking for a girl at all. When I stoped looking actively for guy and focused on having fun with my friends, suddenly my disinterest started sparking the interest of guys. Maybe this is the magic trick that people are looking for when trying to find a …

Yeah this should be the default or not? Like what even is the point of chasing someone who has no interest in you on a romantic or sexual level? It only makes you bitter.

Haha this also goes for niceness. Be nice because you are a decent person not because you want something sexual in exchange. This is why I always insist on paying my share the first few nights or if I really like the guy even take his half but not because I want sex from him in exchange, just to make him happy.

Nannies are very expensive, daycare is sparse everywhere and moving closer ain’t an option because of Jobs. So yeah, one person needing to take a break for some years is the most doable thing and not uncommon here.

No I get that, but there will come a time when they will realize that there won’t be enough people in the next generation. Why should woman care about it either? It is not like we can only bear kids. It is nice not to be tied to a man, having sex whenever I want and not caring for a kid along the line.

Yeah but you make it sound as if women should be blamed when society comes down to an idiocicray 🤷🏻‍♀️ I would disagree. If man won’t help to change the way work and motherhood are compartable this won’t work out. So less kids from well educated woman 🤷🏻‍♀️

You are responsible for yourself to get yourself out of there. This are the consequences. When you decide that you won’t take the responsibility for you to take yourself out of a toxic situation no one will. But this is your choice and only you will suffer the consequences. But this is no ones fault but yours. Of course the other person is an ass and should be persecuted for that but this is another discussion.

Well this was a system for decades and is still a widely popular system. Now mostly the woman gives up her independence and I would agree: Why should you? But if there is no other way and there is no way to get the kids into daycare until 6 than you need to figure out who stays home. In Germany you can join kindergarten(when you found a spot) from the age of 3-4 depending where. What happens the first few years with the kid? Well you need to take care of the kid so why again should this be the p…

Do we live in the age where your grandparents had kids? Why now would you take a time where woman were not allowed to have jobs without their husbands consent as a referring point for a time where this certainly does not apply? Also racist? WTF? Because in some places daycare is sparse and private daycare very expensive. This makes Someone stay home until the kids are in school. And why should that be the parent who earns most? I don’t get that at all. Of course it is not ideal and of course both would like to pursue their careers but sometimes this won’t workout.

You are not responsible if your date or partner is an ass. You are responsible for yourself and to get yourself out of the situation if it is unhealthy for you. But especially during dating, your date being an ass is not your fault nor your responsibility. This works both ways!

I am doing all chores right now because Inhave no Uni and my boyfriend is at work 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also I Never Met a Family where the working part was the one to discipline. Might be an American thing but it is not a universal thruth. So for this I think we can beg to differ because of obvious cultural differences. Here it is common for both parts to discipline when necessary and because the stay at home part spends more time with the kids he will encounter more situations that need disciplining so I don’…

As I said: Dunno who you are dating but you are describing a tale I only hear from man and was falsely accused of it myself. And as I also said: You can figure those things out without being an ass about it.

First of all: If you are stay at home I expect you to do all chores as I would do. If I would lend you a hand or take over some chores by choice or the other way round this would be okey. If current housewife’s to you knowledge do not handle it like this it might be because of personal agreements between her and her husband or because she works from home. Second: No I wouldn’t mind. Well if no woman ever would support a sat at home dad, I must not be a woman 👀 If I earn more money than my husband there is no logical reason for me to stay home and give up that income. And here is the problem being stay at home is not playing video games and doing the simple tasks while the kids are at school. Staying at home means 6 years of Cleaning the house, playing and teaching and supervising the kids, cook and then clean up again and tidy up behind the kids. Also driving and organizing…

For a) a small story wich happened to me last year: I just started university and met a guy during freshman week who I thought was hot. We talked a lot and during a bar trip with the whole freshman group we talked about dating and he told me that he „was never the one for one night stands or sex without attachment“. I noted that mentally and decided to not hit on him as I originally planned. A year later we were good friends and he writes me drunken that he really want to sleep with me because h…

My perspective: I do not really care what he does as long as we can have a comfortable lifestyle meaning a own home, holidays once a year, no issues to afford the bills, and free time activity for all of us. Now I am studying in STEM and will have good paying jobs. So if he has a lower income then me he needs to be okey with taking care of the kids until they can go to school, so that I can climb the ladder to ensure the income. If he does not want to be a stay-at-home-dad he either needs get wo…

I do not know what kind of girls you date but I never met a girl who didn’t want to split the bill. With gold digger: I don’t know about this because I and my girlfriends all have enough money of our own but were all accused being a digger at one point or another. So this allegations seem at least to me mostly from man who have money and cannot fathom that a girl would be interested in him instead of the money (wich we already have 🤷🏻‍♀️). But not on a date. We were talking about an assault/sexual assault from the person you as a woman are dating. So bringing up, that man get assaulted by man is more common than woman getting assaulted by man is irrelevant because we were not talking about same sex dates. Maybe if you would pull up a statement like „man are more likely to be assaulted by woman“ it would have fit but we both know if a woman is assaulted statistically the purpotrator was a man.

Sorry in my motherlanguage there is just one word for it. I thought I would translate. Also I am sure you are referring to man on man assault, wich might be an issue if you date a man but we were talking about a date between man and woman. So either way your comment just does not add to the conversation.

I find it interesting that the common thought around guys ist that if a guy gets a bad girl, she is at fault for being a bitch and he was tricked. She is the bad one. Now one would think that the narrative would be the other way around. But No... Suprise! When a girl gets a bad guy, She is at fault as well! Funny how you spin the narrative to never be of blame...

From my experience we can and sometimes the later over weighs and we get in dangerous situations because of it. So pressuring a woman to let her guard down might just put you in the out-zone and is making her more cautious the next time she dates a guy so to not get pressured again.

Now just for a moment think about a good female friend. She is on a date with a guy she hardly knows. We met at a bar and had a good talk. After that we decided to go to me to watch a movie together and let the night roll out. Nah male model is 10/10 😂 More like a very good looking bloke dropping below average because of boring ill fitting clothes wich make him seem to not give a shit about him self, a hair cut wich is either rocking Justin-Bieber vibes around 2010 or weird gel figures in the hair or just a basic cut not helping anything wich makes your proportions look weird. For me it is mostly style and caring about hair and skin. I lived in a city where guys just didn’t care about their style and appearance. Thus making an 9/10 into an 4-5/10 just because he didn’t take care of what style would fit his bonestructure the best. Now that I live in a city where a lot of guys actually care and think about how their style could do them favors I see many cute guys. Yeah same goes for girls... Like I said it is more about the imagination than the blatantly obvious things. On the otherhand when you are in a long distance relationship senden those pics can be a way to be intimate without being near another. But do not get me wrong: I do not want the times back were an ankle was arousing. Shaming woman for their body’s is still a common practice but at least we can almost wear what we want! Well say at least that that waaaay more dudes get physical without invitation than girls. I thought it would be clear that people are aware enough that generelising a behavior that a decent percentage does is a common practice in debate. I as a woman would argue that while we have visual triggers ( I sometimes secretly watch after guys with a cute ass or imiagining Someone with toned armes to hug me with them) we are trained to just not act upon them. We were thought to not slap a nice ass when we see it. Seems like a big difference between guys and gals... Also the dickpick issue. So being good in bed isn’t a skill? I beg to pardon. Many sexpartners thought me otherwise. Also isn’t it intelligent to pin point the skill you have and choose the one that will bring you the most profit? Another thing: Your example is from Eastern Europe. A poor region. Now I live in Germany and most girls in the red light district are the opposite of what you described. Now of course you will find those beaten up by live but again, you will find those in every path of live.

I give you the real strategy of woman when it comes to „mating“. Having a guy that they love and find sexy. Sometimes it is just the later but then it is almost always an accident. And yes we wouldn’t need child support if society was build in a way that woman could easily support themselves while not being able to work during pregnancy and women and man could easily support themselves while not being able to work whilst caring for a small child.
