Looks like im joining the club I never wanted to be a part of…im heartbroken and not sure I’ll ever trust another woman again. She's cheating whether it's emotional or physical, they've had a long time to build a close relationship, especially as they did family things, like go to the zoo together. I'm glad you stayed in the home and she left as usually the guy loses out here, remember to breathe , sip water, go for walks and try to focus on being a good dad for your son, you don't need to be nice to her, hopefully in your state you are eligible to keep a fair bit of your assets. Sorry this happened to you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/06/25 03:01 PM
It's my fault. I'm lost and spiraling. I'll take anything I can get.The amount of people justifying the cheating is no wonder so many cheat! Cheating is never the answer, if you have a sexless marriage, you either seek councelling or leave. You are destroying your children, they will never understand why you did it to their Mother/Father, you just lose credibility to your children, the ones that should mean everything to you, so when you cheat you make a conscious decision to CHOOSE the person you're hooking up with before you chose your children. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/05/25 09:50 PM
| -1 | It's my fault. I'm lost and spiraling. I'll take anything I can get.Better to stay and cheat , are you for real ? He broke up the family by cheating. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/05/25 09:44 PM |
It's my fault. I'm lost and spiraling. I'll take anything I can get.Apologise to your family, don't trickle truth her and then learn to co parent, even if you try again it won't last long as the trust is gone, this wasn't a fling, it was two years. Everyone always thinks they won't get caught, hope you get through ok. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/05/25 07:13 PM
It's my fault. I'm lost and spiraling. I'll take anything I can get.He is 100% to blame, he should have left the relationship or sort councelling before he stuck it in someone else for TWO YEARS! | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/05/25 07:10 PM
Well I lost…This is so sad and unfair, I feel for you 😔 | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/03/25 02:09 PM
Dating after divorceI don't think you took enough time just for yourself, doesn't sound like you were really ready for another relationship just yet. Be kind to yourself. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/12/24 07:26 AM
Should I stop going to the gym where my wife had her affair? Can you make a report to the owners of the gym about staff having sex there ? | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/06/24 03:38 PM
Are there women that are devastated by divorce like we are?Sorry I didn't mean you personally, I've just noticed how most men despise women instead of just the woman that actually broke their family. I'm totally with you, the pain is immeasurable and I put it up close to the same level as death of my father, having the person that did wrong go off and live their best life while destroying ours is so hard to get past. I hope things get easier for you . | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/06/24 03:45 PM
Are there women that are devastated by divorce like we are?Cheated on and feel the same way about HIM as you do towards women, I don't blame all men for his actions and hate on men. I do hate him though for cheating and forgetting he has children, I don't care about me, but watching my kids being forgotten about by their father hurts bad. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/06/24 06:51 AM
I’m the cheater…my storyI'd say the same thing if a woman did it too, cheaters deserve what they get if they can't leave an unhappy marriage first. Clearly you're a cheater too. My hair isn't blue and as you say, life goes on 😉 | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/05/24 12:38 PM
Need support - How did you know it’s time to end the marriageWhen they kill your happiness, if you look at your partner and wish you were anywhere but here, then it's time, don't wait until you cheat , leave if unhappy. The kids will hurt but they are resilient, let them know you love them and the divorce doesn't mean Mum or Dad love them less. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/05/24 12:32 PM
| -4 | I’m the cheater…my storyHopefully the wife moves out of state with the kids and you get to feel what being abandoned feels like, but somehow you'd probably be happier not dealing with the kids on your own anyway . | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/04/24 03:48 AM |
So disappointed in myself. There is an parenting app you can use for all contact, might be the way to go. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/02/24 10:48 AM
