A positive MGTOW would be, as you can tell in the name, "men going their own way". Even in a positive example like D&D nerds just living their life going to work and having fun on the weekends, a subculture I'm actively a part of, if they do end up finding a partner it still doesn't make them suddenly not "MGTOW"-like. They probably got into that relationship through some sort of chance chemistry, not necessarily in the way dating as a culture happens. If they end up rejected then they will just…

What? As if men asking you out don't want to use you?

Dude, if you get pump and dumped as either gender half the time YOU'RE the problem. Now, the person who does it is the bigger problem, but what I mean is that YOU went out of your way to try and get with someone who doesn't value someone like you so much that they'd use you. Please have better judgement or you will never truly find a partner.

This sub is far too along being taken over by red pillers if it doesn't think there are. For one, I think many of our parents in this very thread are probably wholesome enough, and some have been together with a few hiccups since a young age. Aside from that, you've probably seen 100s of fat couples in your life, especially if you live in the south. For many people, their personality is all they have with that sort of thing, yeah? And those families have kids and everything. Honestly, your probl…

Look, I'm sorry if I was too sarcastic. But I don't get what you mean other than that.

That’s cool that you think being anti-morals and anti-wisdom is a personality. I’m sure you’ll find a wonderful wife with similar values

A troll post? Is it really so hard for you to wrap around your head that good thing is good and bad thing is bad?

Hmmmmm. If girls on your physical and sexual level repulse you, then you likely repulse yourself. Is this true? Because you have to fix either the attractiveness or your standards (and probably self respect) if you expect not to disappoint yourself.

I’ve participated, just with a different crowd. It’s a smaller crowd but they’re honest.

I’m gonna have to say something very very very controversial to get my point across for this specifically. But basically, cities are much more notorious at being unstable dating hubs than anywhere else. If you’re 40 pounds over and have a good personality, there are plenty of 40 pound over with good personality women around here that would give you a try. As long as you’re confident and have other traits related to personality that really spark chemistry. And you aren’t a deadbeat that has given…

Sexual attraction is not shallow. Shallow is prioritizing sexual attraction above all. Is nobody reading what I said?

Well that’s just the nature of a “culture war” isn’t it. You think your side will make more people happy, I think mine will.

Personally, I’ve only dated people who share my values. But culturally and politically, I’d say there’s some sort of fight to be had against moral nihilism, so that people like me have more options + it builds a happier society (remember, I’m not appealing to Christian values, which have some coercion for long term marriage. I’m just saying that seeking such a thing and the values needed to seek it is good and better for everyone when it’s encouraged right. I mean, don’t you get the vibe that th…

I’m saying these are the same thing. The dehumanization occurs, and it leads to many bad things, but also things that could be considered good to a man, like attention and many people to choose from for marriage. However, all of that used to happen under the very strict patriarchy. Now it has taken a different form with the same outcomes, so it’s pretty much the same thing. I’m saying that women still have more attention and options because that’s how it was under that system. Rejecting that sys…

Start from the top. You would agree that conservative Christian men put women on a pedestal rather than thinking them as equal humans, right?

First of all…conflating video games and porn into the same category? Come on, that’s boomer talk

Wait, you don’t think sharing someone’s nudes without their permission isn’t slut shaming? It’s literally not respecting her and making a fool out of her while wanting to bang her for sex without actually committing to a relationship. Nobody has to say the word slut to get what it all means.

I don’t think you’ve been around enough types of people to make that call. Plenty of frat types are like that, as are some stoners and punks.

Yes. Lots of overweight couples in the US, especially in rural areas and nerd circles, with marriages that last. The reason is simply lowering standards down to where they are. "If I'm fat and love myself, then I don't mind someone who is fat and loves themselves". If you're fat and can't be with someone else who's fat, you probably hate yourself and need to do something about it. If you don't hate yourself, then you naturally won't care about the other person's fat as well. It arises from being…

I want to direct your attention to my other comment in this thread, because it was kind of in direct response to this. How do you feel about "types"? There are types of people, after all.

Your best bet is actually asking girls you know IRL. While women aren't a monolith by any means, just like in highschool where you had cliques and groups of people, men and women aren't as individualistic as they think themselves to be. Basically, you're not going to try and date a nerdy girl the same way as a girl with religious parents, or a girl that values athleticism and competition in the workplace, or a girl with...etc. You get what I mean.
