WHO and UN guidelines on FGM are unfair and absolutely biased in favor of protecting women over men. I completely agree. They are guidelines by bodies that don't actually make it illegal for a consenting woman to have any such procedure done. Saying it is especially wrong for males or females is nitpicking. If you want to end the practice, you won't accomplish that by making it about men's rights. A lot of people will not join you.
