True. I get banned a lot for being realistic about the opposite sex and have been banned more than I can count. I appreciate that.

You seem like a really nice guy. Don't lose hope.

I must feel hungry. Because I was going to suggest a cooking sub or group to talk to women. A lot of women love cooking and it's a pretty relaxed atmosphere to meet someone in

And...as fu$*ed as that is. That's going to be some people out there. Sex is a helluva drug and goes a long way to scramble our brains.

You really shouldn't person intimacy until yiu feel safe with her. I mean, really safe. That way she can't hurt you. Like, don't even lust after her until you know she has solid integrity and values.

Yeah....it is. I don't what to say but that you have to find women then who are more honest and less "adventurous" when it comes to social climbing and running around just for the sake of her pleasure no matter the costs to others. I think you need to find an interest that would attract a nice woman. Something softer-hearted women might find interesting like animal-related activities. Something sentimental like that.

Can you think of places where you might want to go and common interest groups you might want to attend to find a female friend or whatever you're looking for?

I see. Dude, you need to get serious about getting over this past stuff. I don't care what way you go about it. I've said a lot here and I think you should appreciate the time people take to try to lend a hand. I'm sure it was awful what happened. My old man beating me since I was a little boy was awful too and stays with me in some form to this. It doesn't mean it is beyond our abilities to move on and make something better You need to FORGET HER. It was ubfair that she was able to walk through…

I feel like something is wrong here. Are you actually looking for advice on how to find the right woman?

Yes, but some parts of it were difficult. I was surrounded by family members who were telling me I was choosing wrong and telling me not to change and to stay bere. People need to go at it in whatever manner they can. I'd be unhappier now living in the States if I hadn't "escaped" from the bad environments that were reinforcing the ideas and feelings and experiences that were making me unhappy. We all have agency. And sometimes it becomes more accessible to use when we move to the nicer side of …

That's a great thing. It's wonderful when things change so much for the better. I'm sorry if I sound older than I am. But, I appreciate anyone who wants to live honestly and harmoniously with others.

It's both. My father used to say that line to me because I complained that Americans were too aggressive and dishonest for my taste for me to make a life around them. So when i finished school I moved to Switzerland(many other places before then, then Italy (where I am now) and became profoundly HAPPIER. A lot of this bad women stuff has to do with bad environmenta too. Because there are a lot of bad women/men out there and the best way to avoid them is to avoid being where they typically are an…

I took your comment as some kind of rhetorical device to voice hypercriticism of men and the way men end up doing things. But, that aside I don't think you're right about putting yourself in the wrong environment to meet people even if you have good self-esteem...something, tragically, that he needs to work up more of through good experiences. I mean, he's upset and it is upsetting dealing with shallow people all of the time when you want or need more. I agree, he sounds hurt. But, I don't think…

Maybe with some people they think that way. I don't. And there are plenty of people, though possible a minority of the general population, who are precise and relatively keen in their powers of observation and logical inference. I come from an educated family. I too am well educated. I am familiar with methods of learning and thinking outside of talkin' to ma barman 'bout 'dem gypsies. But, you did show how quickly you are to jump to the thought that most of who you will deal with are hyper-prej…

You have a negative attitude and you need to put your past feelings well behind you. You sound, no offense, damaged by your experiences. But, dwelling on them is just dwelling on bad memories. No? I'm afraid you sound vulnerable enough to be in a perfect state of mind to be taken advantage of by a woman whose flash mesmerizes you. I don't like being too blunt. But, these are the kind of feeling that you should start working out first with a psychotherapist and with good friendships. Stop seeking…

Your worries are valid. And despite the cultish mantras that many seem to subscribe to on this sub about male-female relationships. Women using men is nothing new and nothing that is going to go away. I wouldn't suggest aging without guidance so that life has a chance to embitter you. Women do prioritize looks and money. Some more than others. You're going to have to look out for those "others" if you feel the way that you say you feel. Not everybody makes out poorly by going at dating blindly. …

No, it doesn't. You're just throwing out veiled insults out. He might be looking for women in all the wrong places like Tinder, and bars and clubs. I can't believe the amount of hostility that this sub meets men with perfectly valid worries. Jesus. You could at least try to "get to know him" before putting him on the exredpill rack? You know? He doesn't want to be exploited....Neither does anyone else.

That's an ignorant take if I have ever seen one. I've had a lot of experiences good and bad. And he shouldn't be taking advice from anyone who hasn't seen the bad if he is to avoid those types of people. The logic is not too hard to follow I don't know why people think that saying somebody has made a generalization is so damning. The whole field of psychology and all other sciences are based on well-defined and established generalizations. In fact, all human life is based on it. How do you think…

Hostility? And you come by it so quickly. I would say you are a "great" advisor just based on this. If everything is so personal then how is anything not about you? And how can you ever give advice to someone from a different situation?

Women don't see men the say way that they see women who are interested in other women. I'm old enough to know that straight women entirely look at men as "providers"....ahem, ahem.cough ATM machines. But, the nice ones go about insisting on suoporting us in a nice way. The best advice would come from a straight man who has been through dating.

Sure. I didn't see your reply here. I got upswt with you in my last reply...But, I'm only human and it started to feel like you were messing around. I saw you go onto LDS subs. If you are or even you are not Mormon I still want to tell you I used to hang around with a lot of Mormons. I even would go to church with them. They are great people. I just think you should look for people like that. But, I know I didn't like how because of the church everyone was always stuck on petty prohibitions rela…

I mean, I told you my advice and I don't know why it's so difficult. You want to be with a woman who cheats to be with you, be my guest. But, you're wasting time on here not taking anything anyone says seriously or too seriously. Date her if that is your plan. But, stop asking how to better mesh with her. You don't think the same way as her so you won't be able to communicate the same way. Take care.

That's the point. Manipulative people and people of low character who try to bring you down are not exactly nice people either. There is not nice because you are blunt and rude. And there is not nice from sort of taking advantage of people's kindness

So, you're honest. Nothing wrong with that. This girl who wants to cheat on her boyfriend with you. NOT HONEST. Do you know the difference between you two and the problem here? Yes or no? You like her? Will you like her when she tries to push you to lie to her all of the time for her need for flattery? And will you like her when she in turn is as dishonest as she always is right back at you? Maybe you're too young to really get this. But, when your folks told you there were people to stay away f…

Taciturn? OP, should stay away from instability. He sounds honest. I'm that way too. Poly and fringe people bring nothing but instability, difficulty, and mental health problems. He needs a straighter girl. Not a more messed up one.

Not around somebody and things that stretch and strain you out of sorts. You have to step away and leave the company of such people. You can't tell people to follow misery. I really don't know what you are trying to say or advise here. I doesn't sound like good advice, though.

Nobody is wrong for not wanting to live a lie. But, try then to figure out what you do want to live. I say this a lot. There is not a lot of sincerity in America. So, the girls/women too often tend to be insincere and dishonest.. Maybe it's time to find women who are not so American and retain different, more acceptable ideals and values, and thoughts. I get it. You want a partner...not a pet. I moved out of America because I didn't want to live that strained American life anymore. I'm happy in …
