CMV: Men waste women’s time a lot more than women do.Another thought, if a relationship without intention of marrying is wasting time. What is divorce? I cannot confirm the quality of the study this article from psychology today , but something like 70% of marriages are ended by women. I just thought it was an interesting thing to include in this conversation. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-new-resilience/201508/women-initiate-divorce-much-more-men-heres-why While, I still contend that time spent with anyone (whether permanent or temp… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/12/18 02:49 PM
CMV: Men waste women’s time a lot more than women do.Your perception of LTRs is somewhat flawed. I do agree that, at times, women seem to value marriage more, and are thus hurt more when it doesn't happen by a certain age/time. But you contend that a woman dating a man, with no intention of marrying her equates to wasted life/time? Life is experience, and I believe rejecting time spent with someone for a simple lack of matrimony is an unhealthy world view. And further, to put the blame entirely on the... procrastinator(?) is selfish. If you care a… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/12/18 09:29 PM
Q4RP what do you think of "challenging" girlsI think its up to the tested on the degree of annoyance. I stand by my reasoning that you also need to be considerate and mindful of how far and who you push with these challenges. I find it concerning how you just grouped all men together assuming all men have the same tolerance level. In the same respect a man must know when to pull back from advances if the other party is not receiving them well, and move on. I do not find it annoying, I find unresponsive dullness annoying. the Art of Flirtat… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/12/18 04:40 PM
Q4RP what do you think of "challenging" girlsI fail to understand the question. Is the hypothetical person being contrarian for the sake of, well, annoying the partner? IE taking a side of an argument, even when they do not hold those views, just to get a rise/ pleasure out of annoying the partner? At a certain point teasing becomes cruel and puts undo stress on a relationship. However, it can be fun and add life to conversations that may turn into echo chambers. I suppose it depends on the context and how manipulative the "challenger" is … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/12/18 03:45 PM
You guys ever think monogamous relationships are a thing of the past?I think people should just decide that with their respective partners. No one is forcing matrimony on anyone. Imagining a world where you can never feel free enough to let your guard down and trust your partner not to leave you is kind of... lonely. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/12/18 09:36 PM
Q4M: Men who were in abusive relationships, were you attracted to her? Why did you stay? Not sure where those assumptions come from, as I believe men are also attracted to the abuser. For me, it was a hero complex mixed with low self esteem and physical attraction. I figured I was strong enough to take what she could dish out (I wasn't) I could change her (I couldn't) and I confused love with infatuation. In many ways it was love, but it came from selfish desire. It isn't so cut and dry. Its not always easy to spot abuse, and inertia keeps the relationship going. And its even toug… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/12/18 09:27 PM
