It seems like obvious advice but its hard to think straight in the heat of the moment. Even if she really is on birth control its not a guarantee she won't get pregnant. I got a girl pregnant on the pill because she was taking antibiotics and luckily it miscarried. A female coworker of mine was on birth control that was supposed to be over 99% effective. Well...she got pregnant.

I am 33 and I've been mostly in toxic relationships, like you ignoring the red flags. I can't give any advice on game since I have none apparently, but some books with good relationship advice that were recommended to me were No More Mr Nice Guy by Robert Glover and Psychopath Free by Jackson Mackenzie. I like this concept about welcoming the butterflies and viewing them positively. I used to get bad general anxiety and recently I learned to be appreciate it since by it killed my appetite enabling me to loose weight. Funny thing happened...the anxiety went away.
