I always saw it as a philosophy with different, for lack of a better term, degrees. Mgtow, imo, can be anything from celibate men, men that only visit pro's, men that date for sex, even all the way to married men. Men that hard core red pill, to men that are blue pilled and wary. Video games to hunting and fishing. Isolationists to stealth moders. It would be hard to orient a philosophy when every one is a captain and every ship has its own orders and direction. It is a matter of prospective, if you learn statistics, odds and psychology, it is similar to researching and learning to use the other two. The stock market has periods with unexpected crashes, dot com housing market, great depression, etc

1 in 3 compared to 27 percent. 13 percent compared to 7 percent. Most those studies I see have an error factor around plus or minus 5 percent. 1 in 3 is 33%, down to as low as 28%. Compared to 27 percent, potentially as high as 32%. 13 percent, possibly as low as 8% compared to 7 percent, possibly as high as 12 percent. How is this even taken seriously

I think it is more specific hobbies, than all hobbies in general. For example hunting and fishing don't seem to be curtailed as much as video games in my experience.

To be fair, there are a few stay at home husbands. That being said, it didn't take in to account what the bread winner spends on the homemaker. Food, clothes, makeup etc

Sport is a good analogy though. Conservative and liberal, offense and defense. The accepted rules of society, the rules rules of the game. People in the stands, people playing by society rules. And MGTOW isn't watching or playing, they have the tv off and are out fishing a trout steam by themselves and a handful of other devout monks. Sometimes the hear about a play they like and agree with. Other times they ignore the drama of the game as being stupid pointless hype.
