That's wierd. Maybe your not lifting properly? The only thing that I know of that can cause a shock (other then the tingles from beta alanine) is impact. I very rarely experience this when doing over head press in bad form. Edit: don't drink raw eggs, get yourself some liquid egg whites, much safer.
