How "real" do reconstructed dicks look like? I don't know. But while this exchange is surely fake, could a born-female with the right surgery look male enough to fool a woman, as much as a born male with the right surgery can fool a man? I feel a vagina-like thing can be done. But making a dick, that's able to have an erection? I mean can "they", the scientists, do that really? Does it look convincing?

Life... uh... finds a way.

You could basically turn it around and mention any body part on the woman which she may be ashamed about. Bad hair, big nose, big vag, small or saggy breasts, fat, small, tall, hairy.. The average guy is less focused on his appearance, in general. But to be fair that's all to women's credit. How they find us attractive is a mystery, so kudos to them. But the point is we all know self beauty holds more importance to females, so they should never think they can win with these arguments.

I don't think you realized he was being sarcastic.

Well then you should speak to your leftist friends so that this talking point isn't only brought up by right wing people. ;)

Still, when it comes to the World Cup, the viewership for a World Cup match, even for a losing male US team, is very significantly higher than for a winning female US team. The pay difference isn't only based on success rate, but on viewership.

There are some sports where women can make top level athlete money, like tennis, despite the women being less good at the sport. It's all about viewership indeed. Women's tennis, while not as brutal as men's tennis, is still fun enough to watch that they get sufficient viewership to justify the high salary of their best players (though granted, they don't get as much as men's tennis, women's tennis remains still popular). Pretty obvious. Whereas women's basketball and soccer/football is somehow …

The same complaints happen in soccer/football. US women's soccer are world champs in the female game, so they demand to make millions like the men, instead of the mere hundreds of thousands that their smaller viewership allows. Poor underpaid athletes they are, living like bums!

I'm French, and Reddit is American. It's pretty normal that Reddit is US-centric.

You're being dowvoted for some reason, but you're completely right. If some chick I like says she's not interested, or if some girlfriend breaks up with me when I was willing to go on, I'd let it go, but I wouldn't pretend that I didn't care. The best, moral thing anyone, man or woman, can do in this situation is accept the other's decision, wish them well, and move on. Some guys here seem to think it's better to downplay the person they were into. Uh, why? Didn't you like them? Then why would y…

I'd argue that considering she's in her mid-teens, she rather picks a fight and doesn't expect the boy to be physically much more powerful. It's about at that age, when boys reach the same average height as girls, that male physical power suddenly spikes way above that of the average female. This girl just got her first taste of reality.

The only possible jobs which could specifically require a gender studies degree is either teacher of gender studies, independent blogger, or consultant (perhaps in HR) on female or transgender issues. Hell, there may be some woke businesses which may find this valuable... until they go broke, but that's another story. :p

Is that teacher asking their students to simply assume gender?

I'm convinced she's shocked to realize how much physically stronger a man is compared to her. She was surprised he could just fling her upside down with a swing of his arm. From experience I've found women of that age (late adolescence to early adulthood) haven't understood that grown men are considerably stronger. To be fair to them, their shock is understandable. Because as kids, boys and girls are fairly even in strength. Girls even tend to grow faster than boys initially. And it's amazing ho…

I think there's genuine shock from some women when they realize how so much physically stronger the average man is compared to them. What I see in this woman's reaction is incomprehension at how someone could so easily flick her away.

Not necessarily to pay respect to French cooking, but more because French cuisine greatly influenced Western cuisine in general, so French words for professional cooking became loan words in other languages. Just like how in French, English words like "management" are used casually, because the Anglo-Saxon business model was highly influential.

To be fair though, I kind of offered that bet in jest. I didn't expect her to pay anyway. She was giving me shit like some classic school bully, I pulled a nerve by suggesting I could beat her in less than 10 seconds. But the bet was one sided. There was no counter bet where I'd pay her if she happened to beat me. So I didn't insist considering the terms were unfair in the first place. I was just happy to teach a lesson.

Even a skinny guy has way more strength than a large woman. When comparing body sizes between men, we naturally and rightfully consider that the larger man is stronger, in general, because if we consider male muscle strength as being equal, the larger man's advantage comes from his weight. But it's actually quite surprising how much weaker women are. It's not their fault, it doesn't make them lesser people. But they simply do not have the natural and biological muscle power of an average man. Ev…
