The problem with feminism isn't the dictionary definition but the application in society. The application in society of intersectional is no better. While in theory it could nuance feminist's understanding, from all that I've seen is all the nuance is applied only to women. The intersectional bit is merely used to argue why men are even more privileged than a woman with a particular set of characteristics, not to actually understand men's position and acknowledge female privilege.

Feminists like to downplay it as basically "just being mean", but false accusations are an outright assault on someone's entire livelihood: their jobs, their support network of friends and family, their community.
