Just to clarify, you are speaking about the Instagram comments which are always a crapshoot no matter what the topic is. Only second to Youtube comments.

Oakville is a pretty rich city with a large population of seniors and university students. Sheridan College/University isn't well known as a being just another post-secondary institution with some great IT and creative programs so I don't think there won't be a major opposition to it apart from initial grumblings against it. The OWLs certainly won't care either. This is also a city that voted down having weed shops in their borders so they can be all over the place on what they tolerate.

So should we stop pandering to people with depression as well? What about bi polar? What about other mental illnesses or are you only against mental illnesses we don't have a treatment for that makes the person "normal"? What about being gay, is that a mental illness we should stop pandering to? Regardless if it's a mental illness or not, there is no treatment to change a person's brain/mind to believe they are the sex they are. The only treatment we have is allowing the transition after signifi…

Question, how do you.know they don't understand a topic? Is your understanding of a topic is different or are you more knowledgeable than all of your peers? Do you think that maybe young people in general of each generation that came before you don't understand a lot of things when they are at that age and it takes time to experience, discuss, understand and explore these topics? Don't disagree with you on the acoial media part but last gen it was video games, then it was tv and movies then musi…

I bet they say the same about the right Gen Z have the same intolerance of difference of opinions as well. An individual's or small group's incoherence does not represent a whole demography. Most people can't agree on a lot of complex topics when in a group of their own peers.

I know I'm going to be downvoted here but haven't seen any of that from anyone who leans left, myself included where I lean left politically. A vocal, loud minority doesn't represent the whole group. Anyone who tells you otherwise is just promoting tribalism and a us vs them mentality.

That is a stretch to justify your comment and, again, has nothing to do with my comment. It appears you have decided to focus on my second sentence and ignore the first. My actual comment: You missed the point completely and fallen under the trap that so many people do that he points out. You can care about both sexes, it's not us vs them, you can bring one side up and advocate the same for the other. Advocating for men issues and shooting down the notion that advocating for men's issues does not mean going against women issues which is a common tactic and reaction people have is a good start. Pointing out the stupidity of toxic masculinity and how men should be more like women or like their grandfather in a ever changing world is confusing to young men is another good point. Did you even watch the video?

No. It's about profit and getting people to use their service. It's not a selling point but it sure makes people who appreciate those things less likely use another service especially one that doesn't list those things. Now it's not profitable for Google to keep it given the current political climate.

If true, it's good. Has nothing to do with men's rights, it's hiring more women in these roles. Let the audiences decide if it's a good thing.

So why reply to my comment instead or posting it as an individual comment? Why not reply to my comment about a discussion on others trying to open up to others about the sigma of body dysmorphia using steroids? Lol at calling me self centered or selfish when you want to hijack a comment about sigma men face when trying to open up with random medical information on breast tissue enlargement and hide behind "bUt OtHeR PeOpLe mIgHt bE iNtErEsTeD.". Saw this on a Canada sub and the first comment was about a guy who used steroids and being incredibly remorseful that he did due to all his medical issues. Stated it wasn't worth it. All the replies at the time we're making jokes about him taking them and one person blaming him for taking the drugs wrong and it's all his fault. I think you need to update this line. While I can understand you are not advocating anything with it, saying to kill others seems like a bad way to begin a document without a proper explanation of what you mean by it. Well to be fair, he has rolled back a lot of anti discrimination laws that were to the benefits of LGBTQ people among other things so that's why he is attacked on that front. In Canada, we had gay marriage put into law well before the USA did and every major political party that opposed it says the same thing that Trump did. It's also political suicide to repeal it now since there is (to my knowledge) overwhelming support for it. It's similar to weed legalization in Canada. Have not heard a peep…

Thanks for the information on the social issues but the Obama not supporting gay marriage during his first term made me question your answer until I found this article/timeline. https://time.com/3816952/obama-gay-lesbian-transgender-lgbt-rights/ You are right, he supported civic partnership with all the benefits of marriage but not marriage itself. That's a fair point but less women voted for Harris this time around with the messaging of men uplifting women. Many women get angry, but they are the minority not the majority. The loud ones don't represent the group and the quiet ones voted in Trump. Race has nothing to do with it.
/r/MensRights07/11/24 03:26 AM

Its not too hard. Stop pitting men against women (if you are a real man, vote for a woman) and separate the topics for each sex while delivering combined messages for issues that affect both sexes. Major issues for one particular sex can also be messaged to both groups differently and effectively. And keep it simple (stupid) because voters in every country don't like or understand complex solutions.

Can you give some examples on this? I did not follow American politics during the Clinton era so I am wondering how you came to this opinion when most of the world considers the Republican party under Donald Trump far right.

As a non-American, the Democrat party are seen anywhere between center left or center right. Republicans are seen as right wing or far right wing. When you hear about the progressives in the Democrat party, those are seen as the non-center left wingers in the party but they are a smaller percentage of the party as a whole.
/r/MensRights07/11/24 03:07 AM

One of the messages the Democrats ran on was men helping women and a woman to become president with no benefit to men, only women. They saw the Democrats only caring about women and nothing for men even if their policies did help everyone in different ways. That's why people feel this way. (apart from the last sentence above you, I cannot answer your question in regards to that statement.)

The president cannot arbitrarily overturn a supreme court ruling. That's not how democracy and laws work. He would need Congress to pass a bill to create laws for abortion. He cannot executively order that to happen. And if you think the current Congress would pass that bill, you are mistaken.

Report them for false information or harassment or whatever Facebook category fits in a report. First response will be a bot that you appeal if they don't take it down. I did this to a FB group called "boys are stupid so throw rocks at them" and in a few days, it was taken down. A slow response? A bit. Effective? Yup!

Remember folks, don't get angry and brigade the wikipedia discussion on the article, it does not help and can have the opposite effect. Carefully word your answer with sources and citations and agree on some points such as one of the articles having poor points but there are still good points in it. If we just get angry and attack the people on Wikipedia, you will see people get defensive and a greater push for deletion of the page.

Most soaps are not fine and penises and vaginas are a lot more alike in this regard. Most Doctors will recommend to not use soap and just use warm water. Salt water baths are also great for cleaning it as well. The perfumes and other items in soaps that irritates the head and foreskin of the penis causing inflammation of it as well. Maybe you use an unscented soap and got lucky. I know when I stopped using soap under the foreskin, it fixed a lot of uncomfortable issues I was having down there.

What comments? I think I went through a significant number of them and all were disgusted by the behaviour. Took me a while to find a comment joking about the son of the rapist and video games. There was already physical violence that occurred. She, the aggressor, should be at most in jail or at least escorted off the property by security or police with a warning. I'm not your bro, buddy. You misunderstand my comment or the situation. This is classic behaviour of either a woman flashing for attention or OP thinking more of something than what actually happened. Approaching her directly afterwards is her getting the attention she wants or she would be freaked out that you saw something she didn't intend to. Fuck, this subreddit is just filled with armchair warriors who fantasize about porno situations coming true.
/r/seduction22/05/22 02:35 AM

What do you take OP for? Someone who posts on the internet about what to do when someone flashes him. So someone completely clueless about this situation. When did I say going up to someone and talking to them is criminal? You misunderstand my comment. If OP is asking what to do next, someone might be stupid enough to tell him to flash her back. Don't do this. She might freak out or a bystander might see. Explain that to a neighbour or the cops if so unlucky.

I'm going to ask for a source that a feminist wrote common-law laws. You seem to have a lot of feelings on this so knowing if feminists wrote the laws would be helpful. PS, just because our PM identifies as a feminist, doesn't mean the laws were written by him or his governments. Common law, in this case, is for Ontario. It's seems you are unable to discuss the article, circumstances of this case and how it's feminist or not. You seem to attack how I word my argument instead of the words themsel…

Hello fellow Canadian. You seem angrier than the average Canadian, please be nice and respectful to others, eh? If this was a woman with a lot of wealth and a man was taking her court for the same thing, would it be a victory for men or just how courts see long term relationships under the circumstances? Alimony/spousal support can ruin people where most on this sub seeing it unfavourably affecting men to a high degree but when the woman in this article receives less than 5% of his wealth for a …

This isn't feminism. This is the courts studying the relationship and their lifestyle. He had her quit her job for a significant amount of years, paid her mortgage, covered her loving expenses, were engaged and lived a significant amount of time together including travelling the world. If you actually read the article, you would see this ruling is actually better then the initial one (~53k for an infinite amount of time to 50k a month for 10 years) when the guy inherited ~150 million. Quit your …

I had a lot of issues with this and instead of finding the perfect moment I used to think I need to, I just found a pause or made one saying "Hold up, I'm/we are going to kiss now " or "Hey, let's get this part over with a kiss". Be creative with it and make it your own words. If you both are comfortable and enjoying yourself, it should feel natural. Don't forget to follow the side bar on physical touching. Make sure you and her feel comfortable even with small touches (hands, shoulders, legs to…

Are we spouting the alpha man bullshit again? I thought this sub was seduction, not pick up artists.

I understand where you are coming from. I do not believe a zero tolerance strategy/policy is effective for the social change that is being sought-after here. I agree that there may be instances where zero tolerance might be needed. I don't believe such a strategy would be effective in OP's issue. I appreciate the conversation here. Perhaps you could further describe, in a new thread, how you would implement your zero tolerance strategy in OP's situation to help us understand your strategy in mor…

By not reacting the way they want you to and ignoring it, you are not affirming it is socially acceptable. You are showing your audience that that sort of behaviour is not worth your time to acknowledge. That your time is better spent on getting what you need to get done. You are also showing the audience you are better than some joke you do not find funny. You can still talk to anyone you feel like needs to be talked to indicating this behaviour is unacceptable. Do that away from the situation.…

My "real world" experiences appear to be different than yours. Every time I have fought back, it has caused the situation to become worse. People get defensive, everyone is getting involved, taking sides and fighting back and nothing positive comes from the situation. Do you believe if OP fought back in this situation, all the people close by would defend someone new? How do you think they would think of him next time when they see him? Not as the guy who stood up for himself but as the guy who …

Nothing. Don't say anything. Don't give them an audience. Don't react. Don't laugh it off. Don't acknowledge their existence. Don't escalate. Some people just make bad jokes. Some people are assholes. Most people are reasonable. Show them that it's not funny and they can reflect on it. If it really bothers you or they continue to press on with the joke, take them aside explain to them how hurtful they are being with their actions. Witty one liner responses may make you feel good but it won't cha…

And? What does this have to do with seduction? What are you asking? What advice are you giving? I see nothing of value here with this post for this subreddit.

I hear you, I had a lot of issues with trying to smile myself while thinking how it looked. It took me a while to realize that the only person who thought my smile looked weird was me. It is all about confidence in yourself and you how think you are perceived by others. Enjoy it! Have a laugh with friends about how it looks and everyone else will say something similar about themselves and smile along with you.

Great points! I would add another basic item that I found helped for myself when i was a beginner and now when re-entering the single world. Smile - Smile at everyone! It sounds cheesy but when you smile at someone, they usually smile back. It also makes it a lot comfortable talking to that person due to the smile and feeling of happiness from it.

They were bringing in more refugees the month of the election than Trudeau did after he took office. The only source I found supporting this (via a quick google search) was the previous government has brought in 2500 refugees as of early September. This number may be higher since the election finished on October 19th, 2015. The current government has brought in 1100 as of December 16, 2015. The election has also been longer than the number of days the current government has been formed. Number o…

It is disappointing that you see this as a war of them against us. I don't think this line of thinking is beneficial to the topic OP posted and it is not worth engaging on.

Alienation, loneliness and death. All of which feminists want. No, a group of people who might have opposing views on gender issues to Men's Rights do not want to see these things happen to men. Anyone who wants these things are not/should not be accepted by the general population and we should not assume that feminists want this.

I agree that it affects all people in this situation with the difficult situation with higher education costs and the effects on everyone involved. However, it is a gender issue because it will tend to affect men and women differently. Firstly, more men than women will be in the role of stepparents. Both divorced parents have the ability to remarry and do not see sources indicating men will be stepparents on a greater percentage then women. Even if it is true, it is a non-issue since the policy …

Slightly misleading title? This applies to marrying a single parent who is considered custodial parent. This applies to parents of all genders. I don't see this as a Men's Rights issue.

Agreed, for these situations, perception is reality. If we appear to ridicule and are sarcastic to another group who disagrees with Men's Rights, it will reflect poorly on us to everyone. Being logical and reasonable may not win against the people whom already are against but will make us look reasonable to the general population. This will allow them to listen to our cause and consider our issues instead of ignoring and ridiculing us.

Talk and be sympathetic to what happened to her while saving and taking screenshots all your text messages. For any situation such as this, if she is communicating to you that you didn't do it then turns around and blames you, you have proof that her story has changed. Hopefully, she won't and you do not have to worry about anything but covering your ass is always good advice. Asking a lawyer may be a good idea if you can afford it or able to get a free consult.

I worked in fast food that had a change in uniforms. Before this change, everyone had to tuck in their shirt. With the change, women no longer had to tuck in their shirts but men still did. When this was announced, I asked if men could wear the women outfits so they wouldn't have to tuck in their shirts and was promptly turned down. It was just a tucking in of a shirt but it was the stupid things like this that made me glad I didn't have to work in that sort of environment again.

I did not see any mention of feminists in this article or from the tumblr account of person who claimed it was a rape scene. This only appears to SJWs and tumblr in action. We should be outraged on their reaction to this but, until there is evidence of it, feminists are not the cause of this issue.

While I agree with your points here, I believe some of these items are actively being addressed within the community. a) a distancing from anti-feminists and misogynists I believe this does occur but the loudest often are the ones that are heard. I am unsure of a solution on this since it occurs in a number of different groups. b) stating very clearly that the movement is looking to work together to create an inclusive and egalitarian society in partnership with men, women and LGBT with the focu…

I believe the point was that this is what the faction of MRA anti-feminists believe has occurred, and not a reflection on the whole MRM itself. This would be similar to others claiming men that actively sought to maintain the status quo for women issues. It may not be the focus of the group, but the idea exists with some of the members. Arguing if the point has merit is another discussion.

I have a hard time believing that FR wasn't a troll posting. It was posted shortly after the discussion on backing away from women who are in a relationship. The way it was written made the FR seem like it was meant to annoy people who don't agree on flirting with these women.
