The rich have a different legal system, even if they are rich because they defrauded investors. Her dad also worked at Enron.

Pay him less than his legal fees... Read the article. It's like how he got all the money from his dad then by investing in a shit ton of failures and coming out net negative he is somehow a great business man.

It's actually a loss, if anyone reads the article the lawyer fees are $400k.

Also that fact you don't understand that is why you'll be poor even if you don't have a wife to steal your money.

Easy. So say I had the full $300k in my bank. I spent $80k on the house and mortgage the rest. I then invest the remaining $220k in the stock market, say you go safe and take an index fund and take 10% growth. You are still way above the 2.47% interest you paid on the house 7.5% Now you do that for 5 years reinvesting the gains. Your $220k has grown to $332k that a ~47% increase over 5 years. Do you think your house is going to go up 47% in 5 years? The reason you buy a house/ mortgage is atleas…

Difference between ownership and owning outright I guess. But even with a mortgage your a legally a home owner. You just are also in debt to the bank. Just saying if you value buying outright vs mortgaging you are not very smart when it comes to investments.

Where do you live that buying outright would be a better plan then taking a mortgage at a Low interest rate? I bought my place for 300k, 80k down and a 2,47% interest mortgage. You will never get cheaper money, keep your liquid cash for investments. And you'll come out above by just playing the market.

I don't think he is being offensive to the Woman, the truth is they didn't perform as well as the men. That's why he is pumping thier grades up as the end of the semester. Now if he started the semester by saying "Hey M'ladys, this class is real real hard and i know you can't read good so ill bump you up too grades so you pass no matter how incompetent you are" That would be offensive.

Not every post needs to spur discussion. You realize that random memes end up on r/all too right? What type of valuable discussion is spurring the a pepe meme? Really. Besides that I do see actual discussion going on in the thread. It's seems to be historically Woman did not enter the STEM fields due to various reasons such as starting a family, a lack of interest, institutional barriers. The argument now is that those institutional barriers are no longer there and there is still a lack of femal…

That's why you have the power of down voting. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean it doesn't belong. You obviously don't agree with the OP and that's fine, but complaining that the post is in r/all is not the correct approach.

I'm trying to wrap my head around why this doesn't belong on r/all? Can you explain your point?
