I guess the NorCal equivalent would be the guys who live and breathe EDM and only wants festival girls.

I'm actually Canadian and American and pretty much all the guys I described in my earlier comment are American. Of course most of the Indian-American guys who date white girls are usually normal ones who's social circles are more white not the ones with a white girl obsession.

Women may give hot "bad boys" and hot losers too many chances, but most child sexual abusers are people's creepy uncles or creepy neighbors, or worst of all a community member who literally everyone from grandpa to Stacy thinks is fine but is actually a secret pedo.

She should sue the guy for copyright infringement since courts actually take that seriously. This is why I always recommend that girls do a background check and look at a guys social media, his friends social media, etc. before getting involved/serious with a guy. Also don't send nudes with your face or anything identifiable.

That's a really gross to think about, but so many men want women who they can "mold" so I can very well see that being true.

Probably a contributing factor. Hopefully CRISPR and gene selection will let us get rid of the genes that create pedos.

Except puberty is a several year long process. Its not that you hit puberty and you magically finish developing. Middle school and young high school aged kids are still going through puberty and are physically developing. They clearly look different from adults and older teens who have finished puberty. And more importantly, kids that age are incredibly naive and stupid and there minds are clearly still developing.

Since the modern Western education system was created, the majority of teachers have been women. Also men are still the majority of academics, and the number and percent of American men who attend and complete college and graduate school has drastically increased since the 70s.

If you look at legal proceedings, or actions taken by school boards due to teacher misconduct, 80-90% of the offenders are men.

" Jennings and Tharp (2003) searched educator sexual misconduct discipline proceedings of 606 teachers in Texas; 12.7 percent were females and 87.3 percent males." And "Most (95%) statutory rape victims were female." and " More than 99% of the offenders of female statutory rape victims were male." This is based on FBI data. https://www.ncjrs.gov/pdffiles1/ojjdp/208803.pdf

I mean the average age girls start having sex is 17.3 and 17 for boys, so young but not that young. ( https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nsfg/key_statistics/s.htm ) But I was a middle school aged girl not that long ago and literally none of us wanted to have sex. But if you think that its exaggerated morality to prevent adults from having sex with kids under 16, then I'm frankly disturbed.

I don't really have a problem with people (who are not in any sort of position of power) having sex with 16 or 17 year olds. Younger than that and it starts getting really gross.

Crime stats show that like 80-90% of teachers arrested/prosecuted for sexual misconduct are men. Mostly because a lot of high school age boys who have sexual contact with their teachers don't consider it harassment or assault and don't tell anybody. Since self-report surveys count any sexual contact between teachers and students as assault, they yield a higher proportion of female offenders. I think self-report surveys are better because to many people will excuse a teacher having sex with or gr…

Teens include 13 and 14 year olds (who could very well be in middle school), and I think that any adults who have sex with them are disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/20 05:59 PM
3

Also most of those cases involve female teachers having sex with 15-17 year old students, and while teachers who do that should get jail time and not be allowed to teach (or be in any position where they have close contact with children/teens). Its not really pedophilia to be attracted to/have sex with mid-teens or older teens.

Imao as an Indian girl, there is a subset of Indian guys who are so obsessed with white girl that they would do literally anything to get attention from them. I've also met black and Asian guys like that; not many Latinos though. Its actually pretty gross and creepy, and I know that white girls are icked out by guys like that.

https://www2.ed.gov/rschstat/research/pubs/misconductreview/report.pdf (pgs. 24, 25) Most surveys where they ask students if they've been sexually abused or harassed by teachers and for the sex of the teachers who abused them, find that around 57-60% of offenders are male. And most teachers are female (around 77%) and around 60% of secondary teachers are women.

I'm Indian and I remember in college that if a non-Muslim Indian girl dated a white, black, or god forbid a Muslim guy, a ton of guys would gossip and complain (the one girl who dated a Muslim guy also got a lot of girls gossiping about her), but I also remember a few girls dating Asian guys and nobody complaining. There was also less tittering if and Indian girl dated a Hispanic guy. Nobody really talked much if a guy dated a non-Indian girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/20 04:02 AM

Yeah that's true. Hispanics also generally experience less of a cultural shock than most other immigrants and tend to come from cultures where marrying outside your ethnic group is more accepted and sometimes even encouraged.

It happens more in England because Indian Brits tend to be cooler and more likely to be 3rd gen or 4th gen, but I'm Indo-Canadian and Indo-American and overall I would say that while marrying out is a bit more common for Indo-Canadians, IMWF is not common, and since more Indo-Canadians are 2nd gen its more common for women to date out. In America its more common for Indian men to marry out because immigrant Indian men are more likely than immigrant Indian women to marry out and most Indo-America…

Hmm I saw stats on this a while ago, and apparently Hispanic men and women are equally likely to date out in the US and Canada. And when it comes to Asians/Indians, 2nd gen women are more likely to date out then men, but when it comes the 1st gen immigrants its more equal who dates out (and for Indian 1st gen its actually reversed Indian immigrant men are more likely to marry out than Indian immigrant women). The thing is though that women who live in large urban areas and are neither married, cohabiting, or in a serious long term relationship by age 30 are a minority of the overall population. And this minority is more likely to have more sexual partners. If you are single and in your late 20s or in your30s, this is the group you are most likely to date, so you see more of them, but most women, even women living in large urban areas do not have that many sexual partners. A person inserting something in your ass or throat without letting you know and getting the ok from you is straight up rape. At one of my friend's college, there was a case involving this. Luckily one of the friends of the girl involved took her to a hospital a couple hours after, so they were able to get a rape kit. The guy just took a plea deal and got like a year because the DA didn't want to take it to trial. I also used to volunteer at a place that provided support to sexual assault victims…

Ahh! Nothing like sarcasm in the morning. But seriously, women do a lot of difficult work (see maids, home health aides, nurses, many others in the medical field). Also women are like half of medical, pharmacy, dental, and law students, and if you look at younger doctors, pharmacists and dentists around half of them are women. I am Indian-American and have been to India many times, so I am very aware of the social taboo of sex but if Indian men want to make sex more accessible, they need to make sex ok for women to have. Right now if you are not part of an educated, young circle in a cosmopolitan circle you will lose your reputation if you have sex. Also it isn't only sexual repression that causes all of the harassment. There is far less harassment in cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad than in places like Dehli since…

So that excuses men taking their sexual frustrations out on children by abusing them and viewing child porn. Also if Indian men want to make sex easier to get, they need to make it acceptable for women to do it. But lots of men will still insist on a virgin. Its only acceptable for a women to be a non-virgin in the most liberal circles (aka young, educated, well-off people in large cosmopolitan cities), so of course women will not have sex

Yeah I had an internship with a pediatrician who had been working with abused children since the late 60s (his mentor had started a decade earlier) and he told me that rates of child sexual abuse are much lower now than they used to be since there wasn't really a lot of public concern until the 70s and 80s. So now pedos get caught a lot earlier and non-pedos are less likely to turn to children as an outlet for their perversions

Ugh. Pedos are peak ick. I'm Indian and when my dad was 11 and was walking back from school, this older boy (16/17) would leer at him. Eventually my grandfather found out and this older boy left my dad alone. I also remember that when I was 13 I was visiting Bangalore and went to a store and I noticed this man leering at me. I love how all the men here suggest using Twitch and OnlyFans as a cash source. Men here rage on about thots and sluts even though only a minority of women have even 10 or more sexual partners (and thats based on data from the 2000s or first half of the 2010s when more women were sexually active in the past year and people were having sex at earlier ages). I think the culture of starting dating in college or a year or two after, focusing on serious relationships or at least FWBs, dating your peers, and waiting to have sex until both people have known each other for a month or longer and generally avoiding casual sex most of the time is good for most men. Very attractive men, attractive men, and very charismatic average men will have less casual sex, and the most unattractive men and men with offputting personalities will still only have ugly/fat g…

People also give me the opportunity to have conversations more by being more receptive and put far more effort into listening to what I have to say. It becomes a lot less one sided. And people open up to me more. They also initiate conversations more. It's like being a kid again minus the being talked down to part. Most Stacys, Stacylites, and high tier Beckys I've met are more optimistic and positive than average. Chad's are also more optimistic than average. Most men can get a looks matched girlfriend. Fewer women are looking for casual sex (Tinders 3 active men for every 1 active female user tells you this),and those that do crave it less than men, so a group of men are competing for the limited attention of a much smaller group of women. While I am skeptical of a lot of evolutionary psychology (and a deccent amount of social science in general) due to the lack of empirical evidence in a lot of it, the red queen is a pretty good book. In anonymous surveys people tend to be deccently reliable. There is some dishonesty going on, but you can account for that through very large sample sizes, studying how dishonest people tend to be with a particular subject, and seeing if other evidence supports your data. The first study did not rely on surveys. The second did, but it had a very large sample size, and you can use the number of partners men report and the number of partners women report to estimate a true number based on how much…

Most research into human memory orginally came from cognitive psychologists and was later supported by neuroscience. A lot of research into the effects of trauma originally came from psychology before being supported by research from neuroscience, public health, etc. There are very few good studies on dating, but there are a few so we should rely on those studies and then use the medium quality studies with a grain of salt and ignore the low quality studies all together.

A large amount of cognitive psychology has been replicated, and has had its tenets supported by other branches of science (mostly neroscience). Social psychology also has has a deccent number of concepts that have throughly studied and replicated. A lot of psychology is also poorly done and not well supported by evidence. Really the only way to see if a part of psychology is legitimate is to look at the studies done and see how strong the evidence supporting a concept is.

Then do what pretty much every other country that lowered its birthrate did. Get more people, especially women to attend secondary education. And give out free contraceptives like the pill, LARCs, IUDs, sterilization, etc. And make such birth control and family planning education easily available to the poor. If Bangladesh can do it so can South Africa

I graduated from high school 4 years ago and was a TA for 2 elementary school teachers 3 and 4 years ago, and tracking was definitely employed, especially in middle and high school. Teachers pretty much never screamed. While class sizes were 20-25ish at the LMC school, this was not due to the teachers, it was due to poor funding and excessive amounts of administration. At the UMC the class sizes were small.

If my partner is going to make my quality of life worse due to his laziness, then I would rather be single or live apart so that I would only be responsible for myself. If I were to feel genuine gratitude for a dude just cleaning up after himself, then I would feel like a mother congratulating her 9 year old son. I'm sorry but that's pathetic, and I just couldn't do that with an adult partner.

Sunscreen, vitamin C, Niacinamide, retinol, AHA/BHA, ceramides, and peptides also help skin. There's a lot of evidence to show that these compounds help. Obviously you need to not smoke and eat a healthy diet but using all of this stuff in conjunction is the best game plan. And it doesn't need to be expensive. CeraVe, The Ordinary, and The Inkey List are all pretty cheap.

Yeah universal secondary education is a huge part of why the birth rates in developed countries (and in most developing countries where GDP per capita is abouve $5000) are below replacement level or only slightly above replacement, and a huge reason why is that secondary education encourages future planning and preparedness which leads to people delaying childbirth until their mid 20s to early 30s, and secondary education is only really common in high and medium income countries.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/19 03:19 AM
7

Yup. While the risks increase in your 30s, and around 35 they become a bigger concern, modern medicine can help you a lot until you are in the 40+ region. Plus if you only want 2ish kids and start in your early 30s you can have one at 31, take a 2 year break, and have another at 34. It wont be as good as having them at 24 and 27, but it's not a big risk at 31 or 34 biologically, and it's a much better financial bet at that age.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/19 02:56 AM

The real answer is industrialization. China isn't very feminist and Iran and Saudi Arabia definitely aren't feminist, but all of these countries have low birth rates. People used to have 5-7 children, but 40-50% of them would die before the age and five, and more would die later, so people needed to have that many children to have replacement fertility. But once public sanitation, modern medicine, birth control, and secondary education became the norm, birth rates dropped. There's also the fact …

In hunter gatherer tribes girls form their first relationships around 18ish and have their first kid around 19. This is usually with boys 1-3 years older. Considering the fact that teen girls under 16 are more likely to die during childbirth and that menarche in hunter gatherer tribes is around 14-15, and that in our evolutionary element girls did not start having sex until their late teens, it does not make sense for attraction for younger still pubescent teens to be natural. Older teens above …

This is so true. Slightly above average to slightly below average guys tend to be the ones who become orbiters, tend to overestimate their attractiveness, and tend to be the rudest about women's appearances. It's more likely to be wrong on the healthy end. The portion of normal people who have a bmi over 25 but are healthy in terms of body composition is tiny (a study I ready said that around 3% of men and 0% of women are at a healthy bodyfat percentage while overweight), but that around 1/4 of normal bmi individuals are skinny fat. BMI is still accurate for the majority of men. Also part of the additional muscle is men being taller (which bmi takes into account) Also women are healthy at a higher body fat % than men. Men have a tendency to store fat in their abdomens. Since a greater percentage of women are of a normal bmi, a greater percentage of women have a healthy body composition. While bmi is not perfect, it is reliable on a population level to find out what portion of people are overweight or obese.

Most men suck though. And don't say it's due to inexperience. It's more often due to a lack of effort. My ex boyfriend had 3 ex girlfriends and a couple FWBs but most of the time he put no effort into pleasuring me, even though I put effort to pleasure him. In fact the only time he put any effort into me was the first few times we had sez, and I'm pretty sure he only did that because I hadn't had sex yet and was very nervous. My current FWB genuinely tries and is far better, but he had only had …

So men can masturbate. There is no need for sex if everyone has to orgasm on their own.

Its because men dont care about women's pleasure. Lesbians orgasm much more. Men perform oral sex about half as much as women. Most women cant orgasm from penetration alone and it can often hurt without foreplay. Men are also increasingly demanding anal, which without a lot of prep can hurt. I repeatedly told my ex boyfriend that I needed for foreplay and that one of us should simulate my clit but he wouldn't do it and would slap my hand away when I tried. I've heard many similar stories from fr…

Domestic violence became unacceptable over the course of the 20th century in a lot of the world. Before that is was at least somewhat tolerated. The UK passed the Matrimonial Causes Act in 1878 which allowed for women to seek separation and divorce if they were facing domestic violence. In the 20th century police started to intervene, but arrests were not common until the 1970s when 2nd wave feminism came into vogue. https://www.britannica.com/topic/domestic-violence While the sexual abuse of 11…

I had rhino/septoplasty (it also made breathing a lot easier in addition to the cosmetic benefits) and very few people are judgemental or rude about it. I've also had blepharoplasty and people are more judgmental about it. I think certain surgeries are viewed as more "shallow" and are judged more. Most men also expect decent skin and hair, and that requires a skincare routine, shampoo, conditioner, hair masks, and a salon visit every 3 to 4 months. Underemployment is a pretty huge problem which is masked by low unemployment. And the rising price of things like housing, healthcare, and post-secondary education is deeply concerning. True there has been a lot of improvement. But I think a lot of things need to change for young people to have a significantly better quality of life. I think that alimony and giving someone your retirement/pension/Social security should not be allowed in the majority of cases, but someone in their late 40s or 50s or 60s who has been a homemaker for decades has no actual ability to build a career, so they should be allowed some alimony and a portion of the retirement, pension, Social Security. And temporary alimony (like 1 to 3 years) for a SAHP or homemaker while they return to the workforce is justifiable, but outside that I would agree.
