I really appreciate what you do and I completely understand you not wanting to be here too much, but this subreddit really needs some more moderators honestly. The terpers are coming in more frequency than ever before and I've even seen some of them start to pull some people who post here back into the murk. If you'd like some recommendations for moderators, I and I'm sure others would be happy to give you some.

I know I'm not OP but this is phenomenal advice, thank you.

So just keep your head up high, and thank you for taking the time for self improvement, and to not see me as a person. Typo? Anyway, thank you for responding :) I understand that women face way more sexism than I ever will (and it's systemic) and a tiny little sub doesn't mean anything, but it still triggered the paranoia in me, y'know? Like I thought I had gotten out of the redpiller stuff but the content in there is exactly what they espouse, just from women. And I got there indirectly from a …

I'm 90% sure that sub is a parody of incel/Redpill subs, or trying to "fight fire with fire" by turning it on them. Yeah fighting fire with fire isn't really a good solution in this case. And MGTOW is an embarrassment. There are plenty of people of all genders who enjoy being single and don't make an entire toxic ideology out of it.

Thank you so much for this post!! I'm crying right now. I wish I could hug you. It means so much more to me than you know. More than anything I want to love and be loved. /r/RoleReversal is by far my favorite subreddit and it's something that I would love to be able to have, even if it's not too realistic or very "typical". I want to be the "girlfriend" of the relationship, to be seen as beautiful, something to be cherished, adored, protected -- I adore strong women and they're the ones I admire…

I know right? Seriously, we need to get some more active mods on here. Last time I reported some asshole it took almost a month for their post to get removed.

We've set ourselves up an outage machine and you need to unplug yourself and limit your interaction with it in order to stay sane. Much like a gambling addict in Vegas, set up some ground rules for yourself so you don't fall into a hole. Yeah I try to do that but I always still manage to fall into these toxic places somehow. instead of subconsciously looking for things that confirm those negative stereotypes try to consciously look for things that challenge them. That's what I was trying to do a…

That's the thing though, I'm the one that needs a rock, a shoulder to cry on, etc. I am an emotional person and I always will be. I have no desire to be masculine, to be stoic, to be anyone's "daddy" (yuck), in fact I definitely would be the more submissive one in the relationship. It's like I want to be in a lesbian relationship but I'd be a guy with a woman. I discovered /r/RoleReversal and something like that is definitely what I want.

Building up a foundation of trust and intimacy before letting the emotional side show. Both parties must be able to lean on one another in times of need, but at the end of the day still need to be healthy, functional adults. Makes sense. I still feel like there might be some trouble with long-term attraction when the man is more emotional than the woman, but that's probably still the paranoia talking... I can't really think of anything else to say other than this is a wonderful post and I'm defi…

No problem at all! You're under no obligation to keep engaging with me so I appreciate your responses, they've been a big help. Yeah, I mostly avoid going to PPD nowadays, it's more of a redpill circlejerk with the occasional "bluepill" post. Most of the mods are redpill or red-leaning purple and I've read that some of them even target certain people and remove their posts. I don't go there anymore, it's just that this concept and the user who agreed with the concept has stuck in my head and has…

Caretaker fatigue is a thing affecting both men and women. Don't worry, I used to think like this too.. Until my (then) BF asked to break up with me because of it. No, he was not an asshole, he was kind. His view of me just changed, because who wants to have a weak partner that you have to take care of? Most people don't. Yeah, caretaker fatigue is definitely a thing. But I feel like it's different from attraction, idk how to explain it. It's interesting that you mentioned that his view of you c…

Are you talking about Laci Green? I never followed her, but I can imagine how awful and what a betrayal that must've felt like. Yeah, that's definitely true about being a feminist and still holding sexist ideas. The thing is though, she didn't say that she preferred "macho" men, she said she liked sensitive men and that stoic men turned her off... yet in the same breath said that the "attraction tokens" theory is "spot on". She explained that she didn't like "whiny men" and it seemed more like s…

This is a support group for ex-redpillers, not for you twerps to prey on vulnerable men. You people are fucking sick.

I really need this kind of reassurance right now, thank you. I understand about toxic masculinity and how something like this contributes to it, but it just bothered me that a self-described leftist buys into this. I had thought she was a feminist at first but I read elsewhere where she explicitly says she's not, so I guess not all hope is lost. Still, she talks a lot about patriarchy and sexism and a lot of the concepts that feminists do though... I don't know. I still have a bad taste in my mo…
