NPR is pretty good but its extremely liberal, often quite dry and boring. They do talk a lot about women's issues. "Next up. How women are starting to become <insert field>". Half my class were women in undergraduate. Half were women as a grad student. About 40% were women in industry. Half are women at the university I work at now. Purely anecdotal, but I don't see a problem of no women in science. If anything it's no Americans in American science. There are many cases reported of communities terrorized by women demanding money "or we will say you sexually assaulted us". Often money is borrowed then not repaid with anything but a threat of accusation. I saw this one report where a young man cried his eyes out because he lost his place at university because of a false accusation. It was heartbreaking. I saw her in intensive care, head shaved, split open with a probe to relieve the pressure. She had a tube down her throat that she kept trying to pull out. The image is burned in my memory.
