I am just out of a relationship that is in many ways a mirror of yours. Many men are incapable of true commitment. They get tired of it or recoil of the mere thought.

I work (currently writing my Dissertation) as a freelance museum-guide. It is not much but it can be a great source of additional income for those who have time and drive. Maybe an Arts-Museum near you is desperately searching? Your Husband needs to sort his priorities (maybe even with professional Help) and you need to stop letting him lead you around and around! He should concentrate on how he falls short himself not blame you for what might just be his responsibility to fix!

I would wear something like this (provided not so much cleavage and short sleeves/cap Sleeves) to work, during summer and with a jeans jacket if it is not quite that warm yet. .

You are the Arts Expert. He knows it and trusts in your choice. Green Flag! Yes, he could try to help out with transportation/a nice meal afterwards but ok.

The way you talk about your ex being a pilot.... if you tell that another man he might feel like you are still pining for this "every man's childhood dream" person.

It is most likely that your partner yearns for more time together and the stress you put yourself under is massively endangering your marriage!!!!! Sell, even at a low price and consider it a boon to your marriage.

Many women entrust it on their men - sometimes that proves to be fatal.

The new tech trophy wife isn’t the hot young model. It’s the most brilliant, accomplished woman you can get to give up her career to have your kids. Yes. We should ALWAYS remember that we are way more then just women sacrificing ourselves!

They both still get compliments, but only when I feel like they're warranted. So almost never. Do not kid yourself.

German is a wonderfull but hard to learn language. One golden piece of Advice, on YT you can still find the "UM Himmels Willen " Series. Easy stories, great dialogues.

Nursing is a demanding job that burns you out quick and no one I know lasted the 45 years required for a modest rent in my state. If you do a prenup specify an amount that gives you security in old age. You will not make a living during the next 10 years that will help towards your own financial security.

Then consider talking with midwives and Doulas!

My husband is extremely traditional and doesn’t do any house work or change any diapers. Ok, so how about he takes the children out of the house for a whole day each week so you can get on top of the household effectively? Yes, he might have to change diapers during the outings but that one is a chore no parent should be exempt from.

Then an author like Shirley Glass might be a better fit.

Laura Doyle excuses Infidelty. Not a good fit for the situation.

You fell into the mindset trap. You are not an Alpha Widow, you are a Woman who has choices and will make good decisions. You can not influence others but work on yourself. to become amazing!

I have the copper chain IUD. Insertion under short term sleep. That was a requirement.

Protect your health. That is the biggest thing to do right now. Your Husband may sleep around and bring back nasty things. So use condoms and get tested ASAP! Care for yourself, radical self-care should be your new motto. Exercise, drink , sleep and nourish your soul.

Are there any self help groups you could point your husband to? > He has begun making really negative statements about the future and comparing our son to any other kid he can, saying things like “It upsets me (our kid) can’t follow to directions like Bobby” “Maybe we’re not doing enough with him” “I just feel like he’s going to fail at school and its so upsetting”.. etc. Your child must have amazing sides and I caution to only deal with his weaknesses - his strengths too must be acknowledged! O…

I hope my daughter will have a stable future, ideally she would have both a family and a job as I have seen too many times that marriage is not a valid safety net. My Aunt went the stay at home without degree or job route and is now on social security after her husband left her and her three children.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
