I guess it is nothing diagnosable which I am not complaining about and also why I stopped going. Mostly just issues with relationships, like what I talked about here recently.

Going to a psychologist is a Chad thing to do. But them not being able to do anything about your problems is even Chaddier.

That is what I am scared of right now, my celibacy leading to infatuation because I am horny and giving me false hope.

Career, living on his own or with a woman/man he is at least engaged to. I would like to have a kid around that age too.

I am doing both.

I'm not really trying to convince anyone, just wanted to show a different perspective. Yeah I guess it is a me problem, but I don't really see how I can control what I feel.

I don't struggle to get relationships, I struggle to catch feelings. And meaningless relationships are no better than meaningless sex, at least for me. I have had some no strings attached turn into situationships from their sides, but I have ended them because I didn't feel it. And that is pretty fucking hard to control.

Yeah that's quite the gap, the same age as me. And I wouldn't go for anyone younger than 20.

How old are you?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/25 09:43 PM

True, except I don't know if I am capable of falling in love. Which is pretty much my main goal now.

The last part is true. I don't think my life is bad either. Most of that is due to my job, friends and family though.

Maybe, but not everyone has the options or mental capacity to do that.

I had one high school relationship that wasn't fwb or no strings attached. And she was kind of intense for our age and the kind of relationship I was OK with at that point. Which led to the breakup and to me going through the hoe phase which kind of became a lifestyle. I would not say I really regret any of them. But most were fleeting and forgettable. I am at an age now when I want much more than that.

Having the options is better. Doing it for a long time and feeling numb after a while is not.

Not saying I did not enjoy some of it, no one was forcing me to do it. But I think I switched my feelings off too hard and it just became draining after a while.

Maybe, but it is not sustainable long term, that is what I am saying.

Yes, that is a saying.

I did not create a new account just to get doxxed.

Hopefully not forever. I am not trying to be a monk or a born again virgin. Also not waiting until I am married. I gave myself 6 months (starting the first day of this year) to figure some stuff out and if I do date, to make sure I have at least some feelings for the woman before having sex.

Yeah maybe if you never thought of love or having a wife, not even as a kid. But after my experience, I honestly think that is less than 1% of men (if they all could have as much casual sex as they want.)

Can we have a competition or something? How am I supposed to get the title?

I did not say it wasn't better, just that it won't solve all your problems. Trust me.

I don't know, but living with this mentality seems miserable to me.

I've been lurking on this sub for a while from my main account. And what I noticed is that I probably have the opposite problem than most of you here. So this is your reminder that grass isn't always greener on the other side. And if you have even one romantic bone in you (I have like the smallest one, but it is still there), you will get sick of having purely meaningless sex sooner or later.

Your boss isn't really your competition either, he is already your boss. And hitting on women at work is a no-go if you see them everyday.

I hope I won't have a chronically online wife. I also don't do these 'male' things.

I don't get why people do this. If I don't eat breakfast in the morning, I'll have the shittest day.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
