I'm not really sure about the "I'll text him for you tomorrow." part, but what Jack_Knife is right. Wait a day, text her back, flirt a bit, set up a date

Actually, if you limit yourself to the title, it could be good advice, obviously applied to your gf.

And that's why the usual advice is to get some other hobbies/activities. Gym is always a given, since it will improve your body and it's healthy even if you don't become a bodybuilder (even more so i'd say). Sports in general are good. Just don't pick something that will turn off the majority of girls. Anything else is fine, really, the important bit is to be passionate about it. Girls love when your eyes sparkle while talking about something you love.

Nothing wrong with your hobbies (I am in a similar boat, although I have now way less time for those), but they are not gonna spark any interest in your average girl. At most they will tolerate them :P The thing is, if you can use nerdy thing to approach a girl, huge chances are that she already is interested/invested into them. And so you may have found her already at your local shop.

Well does he know the bf personally? Is he a friend? If not, I don't see the problem. She could say no.

Dude it's all in your head. You can improve your look I guess, but there's nothing wrong. What you need is confidence. Find something you're interested in and that you like doing. Embrace it. Be good at it. Whatever it is be proud of it. The gist of it is stop bitching about what you think makes you feel miserable, and focus on what you like. Be passionate about it, and get confident. It won't be easy, it will surely take some time, but it can be done. Living proof here. Good luck

Did you try to escalate with kino? Did you just played trivia or talked about yourselves? Were you passionate talking about your hobbies, or what you like/ do in general? Did you engage in some higher level conversation? I would have honestly asked her directly about a second date, instead of relying on a later text. Depending on what you did (and how you did it) you might still have a chance.

First, build up some self-confidence, and don't put her on a pedestal, like you seem to be doing. Forget your rating, and focus on what makes you a great and interesting guy. If by chance you're not (but I'm not buying it), find something you like, improve yourself and become one, at your own pace. You can find many useful tips on the sidebar. Then tell her how you feel. Don't enter, nor stay in the friendzone. As others said, make yourself clear in your interest.

Great post, thank you very much! I'll probably try out some of your advice, since I still have some problems approaching girls

A few questions should not be bad. Try to understand what she likes, what you have in common. Be confident and make assumptions. Let her come out and talk. OP advice is golden, start 80:20 and slowly go 50:50

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
