I don't want to get into the middle of your argument but it appears that you are from the UK and typhonblue is from the US. AFAIK for a male to vote in the US he is required to sign up for selective service a.k.a. the draft. Women are automatically granted the right to vote without requiring them to sign up for selective service. I am not from the US so I may be wrong.

Being in or out of prison isn't the point. If life imprisonment only last for 25 years, why do they have a harsher 30 year sentence? Yes from the quote above it states that a criminal should only serve 2/3 of his sentence in prison so I guess there is that. Agreed. The context of the original reply was in comparing a 10 year sentence to life with parole after 10 years. Two completely different beasts. I would not wish a life sentence on anyone that actually has a chance of getting out of jail.

No, that is not what a Life sentence is. A Life sentence means that she is kept track of by the state for the rest of her life. The difference between a 10 year sentence and Life with a possibility of parole after 10 years is that once your 10 year sentence is over, that is it. I would agree with this. I don't think the pill would be a reliable solution because sometimes it is hard enough to get ammo, food, water, batteries, med supplies, etc... Having to rely on a pill that immediately becomes less effective if you miss it for one day seems like a problem in waiting. True enough. I had originally thought to respond by saying that some rapists would be pro-rape, but then I thought that you can be pro rape without actually committing rape. An example would positions of power where you direct subordinates to rape people as a means of control, either directly over that person or indirectly over another person.

I would assume that transgender medical matters are still seen as voluntary, and are therefore dropped to the bottom of the list. It doesn't matter which system you are in there is a limited amount of man-hours and need trumps want with universal care. I do not mean to debate that gender reassignment is/isn't or should/shouldn't be considered a need, but I think that it is currently seen as a want.

To be fair there do appear to be a decent number of posters in this subreddit that clearly hate women, for whatever reason. However, these posters are usually downvoted next to immediately, and it is hard to tell if they are legitimate, trying to start shit, or just plain trolls.
