| 2 | Female BBC manager publicly declines promotion over pay inequality | After she threw a public tantrum, it's revealed that the male manager had several years more experience than her, justifying the difference in pay. The BBC is standing firm for once - good for them!Yeah but TV with no adverts, an hour long episode is actually an hour long and not 40 minutes with four 5 minute advertising breaks. We aren’t paying to be lied to, we’re paying to not watch adverts the same way you’d buy the premium version of an app on your phone to get rid of adverts.. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 22/05/19 10:36 PM |
| 2 | Some people were having issues with my previous post, so I'll try it again. A woman in Bridgend, Wales lied about being sexually assaulted by a taxi driver and got jailed for more than two yearsI am so sorry for your loss. On the plus side that means you’re not so far from a few nice beaches though? | /r/PussyPassDenied | 15/06/18 09:36 AM |

| 2 | BBC Radio 4 host 'incandescent with rage' over her £133k salary (taxpayer funded). Median UK income is 21k as of 2013I believe the median wage in the UK is actually higher than £21,000, last I saw it was about £27,600 in 2015 which is about $39,000. Our taxes go towards our healthcare which means that we don’t have to pay for hospital visits and doctors in the same way you do in the US. Taxes on products are also included in the prices, so if something is on the shelf for £6.99 when you pay for it, it costs £6.99. Housing is probably more expensive for less here, but the entirety of the UK is less than 250,000… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 09/04/18 12:34 PM |
