I think you're missing the point. One side is immensely offended despite their hypocrisy when it comes to preferences. It's obviously okay to have preferences, but when you get triggered when the other side is vocal about theirs the same way, that's troubling.

I remember that study they did where they used a fake account with a good looking dudes picture and then another guy who was not so attractive would talk to the same girl. The not so attractive guy was labeled as a creep despite the attractive guy coming on real strong, was more explicit, but had more success in acquiring their numbers. Pretty fucked up

I was talking to a girl recently and upon getting to know each other, she tells me she does drugs (mostly cocaine). As much as I enjoyed talking to her, that's not something I ideally want a partner doing so I told her I'm not judging, but i prefer not to date someone who does drugs.
