This is great advice but I've met many people who are, generally, easily influenced by their friends or people who come into their life. So even if he does not mention her, I dont think you can completely take away the chance that she might be influencing him. However, most of the time the person who is influencing the other will grow bored and the other person will slowly go back to their own opinions with time.

I really second this. Also depending where you are and what type of water they have you might need different shampoo. I travel a lot because I go to college far from home and when I'm visiting my mom I need different shampoo because the water there seems to just drain the life from my hair.

Brush your hair starting from the tips to the top. Once a week do a natural hair mask, I usually use just coconut oil with some rosemary essential oil. I feel like he does use dread game a lot. He is constantly telling me about women who flirt with him at work and about how his coworkers flirts with him and how he gets special treatment because he is one of the few males working there. Only yesterday he told me that one of the waitresses told him that he has a beautiful smile. Its stressful when you're far away from each other. Is using the dread game bad?

The thing is I guess, maybe it's a female thing, but if I ask for something a few times and it doesn't happen then I stop asking because it seems useless if everytime what I ask for is turned down.

I mentioned the gifts because a big way I show love is by spending money and buying gifts for the people I care. For me it's a big thing that I spend time budgeting and thinking about. Yeah, it's happened before. I had a breakdown from the workload and just wanted to hear his voice and talk to him. He knew I was going through this stress overload and I asked him if we could talk. He told me that he can't because his roommates were sleeping. I am a pretty forgiving person so I let it go. I guess I'm the type of person who hopes that as he ages he will change. I dont know, if this is me just being insane and dreaming about the impossible.

I just feel down in the dumps about this. Yeah half of the women in my family have been divorced and my boyfriends brother who is only 25 has already been divorced. My uncle has been divorced 3 times. Its only my grandmother's generation that still had the idea that you cannot divorce.

I honestly would not be able to cut contact with her mostly because for my whole life I've fought for our relationship to get to the point it is now a days. I love both of my parents even though I can see how she is a bit of the bat.

Both of the men that I have been in a relationship have been good friends of mine. The man I am currently in a relationship is a childhood friend who lived near my grandmother and I would spend almost every summer with him. I don't now how much longer i'd have to vet them out. She also usually gives really superficial reasons to why she doesn't like them, for example height, weight, hair, etc. So I don't really know what's up with that.

I guess it might be true, she has went through a divorce and the women in my mom side of the family have bad relationships with men. Most being divorced or married to alcoholic, cheating men. My boyfriend has even said that my mothers side of the family has no decent men. I just hoped that she would be happy that I found myself a great man and am happy but I guess not.
