It’s like university grades, If you get an F in one of the essential subjects despite all As in all other subjects, you can’t graduate. Let me put it like this, when a man rate a woman for a full score of 100, around 70 scores are about looks and the remaining 30 scores are for personality and other factors. On the other hand when a woman rate a man, she often considers a wider variety of factors: appearance, personality, chemistry, compatibility, social status, wealth and earning potential, etc. In the end looks account for like 30 of the 100 total score and all other factors add up to to 70 score.
