Positive discrimination is, at least in my country and I'm guessing others, the default term. Some countries use "affirmative action" instead. It's literally the same concept, just better packaging to hide the fact it's discrimination.

They call it positive discrimination, because that's the actual term for it. Affirmative action, for example, is the term used to disguise it. People don't want to face the fact that it's discrimination, difficult to do that if it says so in the name. In the end, the pay statistically differs. You can explain, that it isn't caused due to discrimination, but there isn't much to be done about the "gender doesn't exist" part of it. I have also from youtube somewhere heard the argument that longer prison sentences for men are realllllly actualllllly sexist against women, because according to the patriarchal stereotypes, people can't see women as a credible threat compared to men. Because the definition of the bakeriarchy is so vague, you could just wrap it around anything.

Well, I personally (and I am definitely not alone here) really dislike it when someone reads their talk. It's really annoying. I don't know about others, but she specifically has stood out for me as someone who reads. So I looked up Anita at XOXO and what I saw was absolutely disgusting. Regardless of the content, it is a horrible presentation, reading is a complete no-no.

When the shirts came out, I looked them up. To me this sums it up really nicely. Just look at the foreword and summary. The last paragraph of the summary is actually really important, even though it is phrased in a really fancy way. Also notice that they use the phrase "raw wage gap" because that's what it is, it is raw.
