The average man won’t put up with BB BS, so no, women shouldn’t enter into monogamous relationships with the average man. He will stand up for himself and no woman wants a man like that.

You said nothing of consequence. I you seem to really misunderstand how the burden of proof works when making claims. You failed. No one cares about your opinion. You are a loser. Just accept it and move on.

As if your comment had any substance? You failed. You are a loser. Just stop. You are embarrassing yourself.

I gave you a chance to make your point and you failed. “Pizza helps incels!” Makes just as much sense. You have no leg to stand on. You lost. You are a loser. Move on.

You insist therapy helps incels, but you won’t explain why. You failed. You are a failure. Accept it and move on.

How does therapy help incels? How exactly does it get them sex? Explain yourself completely. I will not ask follow up questions. Your incomplete answer is you failing to make a relevant point. Real ... problem that is only mental. Therapy does not get incels sex or relationships. That’s not what it is for. Maybe, tangentially, they might have sex after doing some psychotherapy, the same way that they may have sex after eating pizza. But, we wouldn’t say eating pizza helped, and in the same way t…

No where near the level of detail needed, but maybe that’s not your intention. It also doesn’t solve the practical issue of: how am i supposed to believe she isn’t lying about being sexually compatible? What if she’s really bad at sex? I would want 100% of my demands for a prenuptial agreement in there, and none of the terms I disagree with. It would have to be one sided to protect me, for example. There’s also a simple solution: have pre-marital sex with me and then agree to marry me, and be go…

Matter less in what way? Other than normal “wear and tear” from age, women don’t lower their standards on looks. They were able to get a hot 25 year old guy, so why not a comparable guy at 35 or 45? That’s the line of thinking. Or, they compromise and are not attracted to him, dead bedroom, branch swinging, BB/AF, etc. It’s not that looks become less important as an individual criteria, but instead more criteria are added on top of it. If you want to look at it like “what percent of criteria are…

Does abstinent mean no oral sex too? What are the terms of the prenuptual agreement? Several practical issues with how the relationship would work while dating and in marriage come to mind. When I think of what would make it possible and compare that to how likely it would be to find a woman like that in the real world, it’s practically zero probability of it every happening.

I’m a man, but IMO, it’s closer to a fetish than not. Really stretching the meaning of the term. But, yes, a fetish, but one of the more common ones.

and all the other habits of incels are neither normal nor healthy. Then it’s a good thing I don’t do any of those things. It still doesn’t get me any closer to actually having sex or a relationship. Telling me to get more hobbies is so misguided: I’m already maxing out my hobby time. Other examples are like that too. No one is saying there’s a right to sex. Wanting sex is not the same as saying you have a right to it. There are also plenty of things incels say that are, at least to a degree, bac…

If you think racism is a real problem then you are really the one with the problem, a mental problem, and you need therapy. See how stupid you sound?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/20 05:28 PM

I’ve had plenty of therapy and it didn’t help me. If you ask actual therapists they’ll tell you they aren’t trying to get incels sex or relationships or whatever. All therapy is there to do is to trick you into running on a hamster wheel until you die of some other cause. That’s all they really care about. Everything thing else is just icing on the cake.

When you are deprived of sex, a normal, healthy desire for sex looks like a desperate desire to have sex. When you are deprived of water, a normal, healthy desire for water looks like a desperate desire to have water. You shame incels for having less luck than you.

You don’t understand. I don’t want or don’t want you to care. It doesn’t matter. Either way, when men express their preferences you’ll often see responses criticizing them, policing them. Those people care a lot about the preferences of men. I don’t care about you. I don’t care that you want to shame me, or care what you think about me. I Don’t Care About You Or Your Preferences This is a comment for anyone else who might be reading this thread.

At least for me, as a man, I’m very aware of the illusion of choice problem, but it isn’t really a problem. On the outside looking in, I could see how you might think there’s an illusion of choice problem. However, the reality is most of the “hot” women are fake accounts, of some kind, and I’m very aware of that. Maybe it’s a fake account set up by the app to “seed” the user base. 99% of my Tinder matches were really just a way to trick me into giving them my credit card information.

Just wait and settle. Not good enough, because, obviously, you don’t get to re-do the years (decades) that were not good while you waited. Other people enjoyed that time and ended up in exactly the same place you are. For you, if you’re a wait and settle person, those years are locked in as bad.

Right, it makes no sense. It’s not coherent because a coherent set of ideas was never the goal, the goal was to be a defense mechanism (if it has a goal at all). Alternatively, and I’m inherently skeptical of anything resembling a conspiracy theory, but I think some of these people are intentionally trying to manipulate discourse. Like, they think they’re doing good by making incels less dangerous, so manipulation, deception, etc. is justified. They’re trying to define incels, and the problem, a…

Most people in most jobs don’t want to do it, it’s just the best way they’ve found to get money. The overwhelming majority of accountants don’t want to be accountants, but it can pay well, and they’re good at it, and it’s not too terrible.

Why should I care if I’m seen as “VERY SEX” if it gets me nothing? I don’t want dating to be transactional. When women insist on men transacting they make it transactional. I never have to ask for anything , men OFFER so take it up with them. Best of luck being some rich man’s slave in the future.

Your last sentence: this has been addressed by other people already, better than I could do. The first part: not true, unless you define “harassing” etc. as when otherwise OK behavior is done by a non-very-attractive man. When he is hot it is flirting, when he is not it is harassment.

I’d rather be dead. That’s not a solution for the people who can get sex, relationships, etc. so it isn’t one for me. Why don’t you try it and let me know how it goes, ok? Let’s force everyone to do it. No, you don’t get to see your husband every again, and you’ll never have sex or a relationship with another man for the rest of your life. If you’re not extremely attractive they will not see it as refreshing, they’ll see it as harassing, see you as a creep, stalker, etc. When these women tell you it was refreshing to be approached IRL they’re only remembering the times when it was by a very attractive guy. They classify the times where the man wasn’t extremely attractive as being harassed, so they don’t consider it in the same category, so they don’t remember it when you talk to them about it.

Most people, actually
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 05:34 PM

You still have to try to to talk to them, and that’s what matters. Even if you’re a “regular” they don’t want to talk to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 05:29 PM
2

And sure you have to be attractive. That’s the assuming away the problem part, and not just “attractive” but you have to be very attractive, like all the alternatives they compare you to in OLD
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 05:28 PM

Your market success is ultimately dependent on your inherent value and your selling price. Pretending that demand side factors are not just as important doesn’t change how it actually works.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 05:22 PM

Most people start trying OLD because trying to meet people IRL doesn’t work.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 05:18 PM

They don’t argue in good faith, they’re really just a propaganda machine
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 05:16 PM

... and you have to eventually cold approach those people to get to know them. You’ve assumed away the problem. Yes, meet a lot of people, that’s the part that doesn’t work. There are exceptions, but when you try they don’t want to talk to you, meet you.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 05:14 PM
18

but I will counter by saying that women will be surprisingly open to a fresh approach IRL. IF YOU ARE AS SEXUALLY ATTRACTIVE AS THEIR ALTERNATIVES IN OLD you’ve assumed away the problem.

there is plenty to live for other than women. Then you volunteer for that life. You can’t abuse me and force me to work for you. I am not your slave. I will die first. You give me no choice. Suicide is the only solution.

Why don't you go date someone you aren't attracted to, then you wouldn't be an incel. Just be gay, bro
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 02:30 PM
1

Ok, then you live an incel life. No? You leave me no choice than death. Incels are not your slaves. You can not abuse us and then force us to work for you. We would rather die. Many like me are choosing to do that. Suicide is literally the only choice we have left.

in your experience, do manwhores - I’m talking about dumpster divers - get respect and accolades from other men? God no, it isn’t a thing by its self that can be good or bad. It isn’t a subject of conversation and it would be weird to bring it up. Like, why are you telling me this? We don’t want to hear it; I have no interest imagining my friends have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 10:00 PM

What am I going to get out of answering your questions? You aren’t going to help me. I see only downside to answering.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 09:11 PM

Dating isn’t equivalent to sex, “n count” refers to sex, not dates. Pick one incel and marry him. There you go. Or, be flexible. Or, you have chosen to make more incels.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 08:23 PM
1

Why ask? You’re not going to help me. Suicide is the answer for me, here. You disagree? Make your argument in full, including supporting evidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 08:21 PM
2

Obviously, we’re not talking about literally just “choices” but good choices. They give me no good choice but suicide. They force me to suicide, it’s that bad. If you don’t agree, then end your relationship if you have one, and for the rest of your life don’t date, don’t have sex, no relationship. You live the way you leave me to and let’s see how you like it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 07:11 PM

Sorry doesn’t help, only suicide will help. I have no choice. They give me no choice. Only suicide will help
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 06:12 PM

Should or shouldn’t: it does. “It” not being a woman rejects me, but all women” reject me. *That encourages me to suicide. Continuing to live is a bad bet, they make it a bad bet. Better to be dead.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 04:32 PM

Tell that to all the women who reject me. Those women are the ones who are encouraging suicide, not me. If you don’t want incels to suicide then give them a better option. Up to you. Or ban yourself. Or be a hypocrite.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 04:32 PM

What mentality is guaranteed to get me a girlfriend? No more information, you say i have the wrong mentality? Then you tell me exactly what will guarantee me a girlfriend. Otherwise, you won’t be taken seriously.. you have endless reasons why I’m bad for one reason or other. Always some explanation “of if you just do X” and it never works. Nope, i’m done. You choose death for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 11:43 PM
1

Wow, you are dense. If you don’t want more incels then start dating them, whether you are one of their female friends or not. If you don’t want to date your incel friends then date other incels.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 10:55 PM
1

No, way, it’s hopeless. Suicide is the only way for incels to avoid decades of a miserable life. It doesn’t have to be this way, but everyone chooses to treat them in a way that gives them no other choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 10:51 PM
1

Not everyone agrees on what “pleasant” means. I do all of that stuff, still nothing. It doesn’t guarantee anything, so don’t act like it does. You have not provided a solution, you are just victim blaming.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 10:50 PM

... so you believe incels will be able to go year/decades without ever having a date, and then magically some how be amazing at it, the first time?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 10:48 PM

If you are not qualified to back up your suggestions then don’t make them in the first place, or don’t be surprised if someone challenges you on the validity of your suggestions, or if someone doesn’t take you seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 09:02 PM

there is something wrong with depending on someone so much when you aren’t doing anything yourself to help. That’s the part you get wrong. You don’t see all the things they currently are doing and what they’ve done in the past. There’s also the matter of: why keep wasting effort doing something that doesn’t help you? Incels can’t do it themselves, that’s the INvoluntary part of it. Friends introduce two people who end up dating all the time. Again, I don’t think you really understand how much ev…

/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 08:27 PM

If that’s your attitude then you’ll probably get more incels around in the future.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 08:25 PM

If you’re saying that non-romantic relationships are a substitute for, and teach you how to act in, romantic relationships, then you are wrong. Otherwise, I don’t understand your point.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 06:24 PM

Then I don't quite follow what your point about denying you chemo is. What is the real life equivalent for denying you chemo? Everyone, collectively saying: I do not want to date you to have casual sex with you to be in a LTR with you I don’t have time to respond to everything else right now, maybe later.

From the woman’s perspective, she would not accept a “sugar” relationship unless it was as lucrative or more profitable than a “normal” relationship, getting support from a man, etc. From the man’s perspective, if he really has no other options, paying more than it is worth on a long term average basis could make sense if he takes breaks in between.

Ask them yourself: what tools will a therapist give me that will allow me to actually convince a woman to have sex with me? Hey, you lay it all out for me in your next comment. You want to claim therapy helps? Then you back it up. What you don’t get to do is make that claim, then hide behind “they give you advice and tools,” and for me to take you seriously. Therapists to not give advice and they…

R.e.: coping When I compare incels to black slaves, or WW2 concentration camp victims, people can get confused and think that I’m saying being an incel is exactly the same thing. I only mean that being an incel is in the same class of things, just a less extreme version, just like 5 is less than 10, but they are both positive numbers, so in that sense in the same “class” of things. Coping? You wouldn’t tell a slave to stay a slave and just cope. “Help! get me out of here!” Nah, bruh, I’m not goi…

It is typical to recommend that cancer patients with terminal diagnoses to see a therapist. I assume you would consider that a "real" problem. Your analogy misses the fact that these cancer patients have been given every possible chemo-therapy first. To make the analogy work it would have to be like no, you don’t get chemo-therapy. It totally exists and works, but none of us want to give it to you, so because of that your cancer is terminal. It isn’t actually terminal, but terminal because we ch…

A problem with telling incels to improve “social skills,” “personality,” etc. is that it doesn’t address the underlying paradox that creates the problem in the first place. You can’t learn social skills in a vacuum; learning by experience is a necessary component. poor social skills leads to few social interactions few social interactions leads to lack of development of social skills lack of development of social skills leads to poor social skills Do you want fewer incels in the world? but so does actually going out and accomplishing a goal that means something to you. In the longterm that’s what you want, and that’s what a good therapist guides you towards. “Guides you towards” is so weak and vague that it is meaningless. If you actually ask therapists “OK, brass tacks, what’s the plan for us to get me sex and eventually a wife?” They’ll tell you that’s not their job.

Yes, and it doesn’t help. Therapy isn’t meant to help me actually fix my problems as I define them. All therapy is really there to do, once all the “nice to haves” are stripped away, is to reduce the probability of suicide or physically harming others. A therapist is like a smoke detector for suicide and homicide. People don’t like to acknowledge the truth about this, I think, because it undermines the ability of therapy to do that. There’s no reason to go to therapy once you know the only “help…

If they grew up knowing the black pill since the beginning of their puberty they'd probably come to terms with it after a while and pursue other things in life. That’s where most incels are. Part of “blackpill” is the realization that those “other things in life” do not replace the things in life that we’re all literally hard-wired to enjoy.

That also sounds like a dystopian pipe dream. A proposal to instill young men with a sense of false hope. Could it help a few men on the border? Sure, maybe, but even if you see one man be able to get a romantic relationship when he otherwise wouldn’t have had one, it’s entirely possible that what has really happened is that he beat out another man, and now that other man is the incel. It’s a kind of part-to-whole fallacy. Like, if you’re in the crowd at a football game, you can get a better vie…

It is not implied. It is the strawman that men who don't want to work on their personality or anyhting else use to deflect - "it doesn't matter cuz it's all about looks." What’s your evidence? “Ugly” men may have gfs/wives, but those women are not attracted to the men they’re with. I am realistic about the women I’m going after. None of them want me. It’s not a matter of being more realistic, you have to set a standard somewhere, otherwise all sorts of non-sense options are possible. Be more realistic, have you tried being gay? Besides if you are asking her out it’s fair that you pay, at least that is what I think, you ask out you pay. Why would you date the kind of woman that follows the FDS? Because the FDS women don’t want you to know they’re going to use you for a free meal, so you often can’t differentiate between FDS vs. non-FDS women. Men don’t want to date them, it’s just an unavoidable risk if one is to date at all.

But it won’t get you her wanting sex with you a relationship a LTR marriage Now, if you want to be obtuse and say just a date is good enough, that’s fine, that’s up to you; but that’s not good enough for most men. An exception can be made for something like “I tried it once, hated it, it’s a deal breaker for me” and it isn’t a deal breaker for you. I think OP is more talking about cases where a person did the sexual act multiple times and had no problem with it at the time, but for some reason refuses with the LTR. On that point I agree with OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/20 08:21 PM

OK OP, I’m not “weird to girls” but they still won’t have sex with me. Regardless of my beliefs, the only way it will happen is if I convince a woman to have sex with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/20 08:17 PM
14

That’s where it doesn’t necessarily follow. Maybe I feel no resentment at all. Maybe I resent the situation, and not them. Maybe some men resent women, but that’s not what OP is saying. You are making a strict and broad claim. So far, the argument doesn’t support that claim.

No, because the reason they are “well-adjusted ...” is because they’re attractive enough to be able to get what they need to become that way (not that it is impossible to become spoiled). “Be patient, don’t settle” works for them because they can afford to. It’s terrible advice for people who aren’t attractive enough to have a large pool of candidates to choose from.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/20 04:06 PM

Mother nature basically programmed men to hate women by designing men to want women more than the reverse. That’s where your argument breaks down. To illutrate: You assume being "nice" and being "athletic" as a limiting factor, but that's not what will actually happen in practice on societal scale. Nice and athletic are just examples. Swap in your own factors if you think they’re better. Lack of sun will not be compensated by more water. So sun light is the current limiting factor in that scenario.

By construction of your hypothetical, frame is by far the most important limiting factor. That is, with in you model, which may or may not reflect reality. Another model might be better. It’s a question of fact.

This doesn't work with your plant analogy because I can't give a plant extra water to make up for no sunlight, but according to TRP, I can have titanium frame to make up for my lack of physical attractiveness. In your hypothetical, lack of frame was the limiting factor.

The intent is clearly to distract incels so that they’ll focus on a vague, unobtainable goal for the rest of their lives, and blame themselves instead of considering the role others play. There’s always something that could be pointed out to blame someone for having a “bad personality.”

A man is likely to be punished for saying he wants a woman who makes more money than him. If we’re talking about effort you have to also consider what the situation is, and that isn’t in a man’s control. You’re the one who said you wouldn’t date a “deadbeat.” How much do you make? Is it not possible to be “financially stable” with that income? College education is not equivalent to income, especially for those in the arts. Also consider: what if by some windfall you can make much more each year for the rest of your life? What if your income tripled? What was equal to your income is now one third. So, now do you not consider men who were good enough before? (Imagine your husband has died in an ac…
