Ah for sure. Yeah there were mostly those glancing blows where it's more arm than fist.

Hitting someone with your arm is different than your fist. It’s not like a fighting term, it just literally means punching someone with the arm instead of the fist.

I must be whooshing again, what's the emphasis on 'borders' for?

Was indeed wooshed. On reddit it's hard for me to tell when someone is joking or just stupid.

Really? You're saying relationship boundaries today were established in the 1800s and before? Are we really saying relationships in the 1800s were as healthily balanced as they are today?

How does it mean that? As the guy said a lot of decisions are made subconsciously. Someone picking James over Jamaal may not be consciously making a choice to pick the white dude, but the way our society is he is conditioned to gravitate toward that choice. And most people in positions of power are white. People lean toward others that are similar to them. White people are not only a majority, but a majority in positions of power. A majority of people in power will naturally lean toward people s…

Ah, ok, that's what I was hoping. And really I wasn't commenting on the actual case from the OP, but rather the "not a crime" comment. Definitely thought you meant it wasn't a crime for an 18 year old to sleep with a 12 year old, but thankfully that wasn't what you mean.

Is being 18 an doing sexual stuff with 12 year olds not illegal? Or are you saying flirting and being skeevy toward 12 year olds isn't illegal? Cause I'm pretty sure being 18 and doing stuff with a 12 year old is illegal.

You can get married and not have kids though, seems like the tax breaks would work better then.

Ah couldn't remember if it was Sheen's or Shatner's. But yeah I remember her roasts and it definitely felt like one of those forced "trying to be too edgy" routines.

Looks like assholes trying to make conservatism/Trump/right look like scum to me A lot of those people make themselves look like scum without the help of others.

Damn. The people I know who have seen him live recently said he was pretty good still. Maybe an off night?

Did Steve-O get a roast? Or was it a roast where Steve-O was also a roaster? I don't recall him ever getting one (plus I don't think he's done enough to deserve one either).

Generally speaking he was heavily criticized by the scientific community. He may be a scientist but one guys paper that isn't regarded as actually accurate doesn't work for me. I need some semblance of actual consensus in the scientific community.

TBF Hot and Top are the most common sortings and they are different in how they rank comments. Mostly the same rankings but with some differences. Not taking a side, just being "that guy."

And these other commenters are shitting on your girlfriend for being overweight, that is also not what a white knight does.

I think it was for saying her weight gain was out of her control.

I don't think you're being irrational I just don't think someone would use a belt to achieve what you're thinking of. In the picture it looks like it's pulled pretty taut and could be looser without taking up much more room so I just don't see it being done for a comfort reason. If I'm sleepin on a plane I usually lean to one edge so my legs naturally stay closer, I don't know that I could fall asleep with a belt in that position/

This isn't even my argument, dude. I was just clarifying my post. You asked me: Also, a lot of the guys on here are saying men are incapable of keeping their legs comfortably closed. So which is it? and I clarified that I never said it was comfortable in the first place. I can see though that you're getting pretty invested so I'm not sure that this thread needs to even continue.

incapable of keeping their legs comfortably closed And then Every man is capable of sitting with their legs close together. It may be uncomfortable

I agree it could just be a joke, but I'm willing to bet that guy doesn't have any issues and just wanted to relax his legs without encroaching on someone else's personal space. I don't agree with this. Every man is capable of sitting with their legs close together. It may be uncomfortable but let's not pretend men need a belt to keep their legs together. You would only do this if you had an issue controlling your legs.

Jesus a sub dedicated to watching people die is just the tip of the iceberg? I'm not sure I want to find the bottom of the iceberg.

is not a productive or entertaining attitude I don't think he went in to this back and forth trying to be productive or change people's views. I did find it pretty entertaining though.

He may have taken the high road in the past and just felt like letting loose this time. I don't think anyone reading this back and forth really thought that the guy was even trying to take the high road. He wanted to stir the pot and was pretty successful at it. Since they also don't seem to really know each other I don't think he was really trying to change anyone's mindset either.

They're also trained to put two in the chest and one in the head No they aren't. Aiming for the head is fucking stupid because it's such a small target. They are trained to aim for center mass until the target is completely incapacitated. This isn't the movies where the cop only shoots once and it goes straight into the bad guy's face.
