A Melbourne woman repeatedly raped a 13-year-old boy, plied him with alcohol and drugs, and had three of his children.Aussie here. From what I've seen, generally news outlets don't (or aren't allowed to) publish the name of the perpetrator if their victim is under 18 years of age, in the interest of protecting the identity of the victim. This applies to both sexes. | /r/MensRights | 18/06/14 03:24 PM
Cheating guy was beaten by girlfriends, double-standard much?I completely agree. | /r/MensRights | 14/11/13 11:49 AM
Cheating guy was beaten by girlfriends, double-standard much? That's fucked up. Cheating isn't very nice and is a shit of a thing to do. But beating the absolute shit out of someone like that is fucked up (especially when they knew he wouldn't defend himself). | /r/MensRights | 14/11/13 09:06 AM
Women tells me that I write like a girl - everyone laughs. I tell her that she writes like a boy - everyone hates me.How well do you know these people? Do you think they might have been having a joke at your expense? It just seems like a really weird reason for anyone to get angry at you. | /r/MensRights | 14/08/13 03:50 PM
Someone's workplace gets it right. (x-post from r/pics.)This is what I do, and I think it's an excellent compromise (not to mention it looks tidier!) | /r/MensRights | 22/06/13 02:04 AM
12 Year Old Boy Raped On Bus and No One caresHoly shit. How the fuck could the woman be allowed to get away with that?! Is there any more info on this? I imagine if the genders were reversed this would be front page news in every country on the planet. | /r/MensRights | 19/06/13 03:06 PM
What is it with you losers? Do you genuinely hate women? Or are you just too stupid to live and breed? I mean that literally (male columnist in popular Australian newspaper "The Age").I almost double checked to make sure i wasn't reading some crap from tumblr. | /r/MensRights | 18/06/13 02:50 PM
This 'informative' slideshow popped up on tumblr today. Do people really think of us as a hate group? In other words, no. | /r/MensRights | 02/05/13 08:08 AM
Out of anyone on Reddit, I thought this sub would like what I found tacked to the bulletin board in my apartment buildingGuess we will just have to agree to disagree on your first point. The problem that I see with encouraging circumcision as a means to prevent STI's is that some men (especially those in developing countries) may believe that if they are circumcised, they do not need to wear condoms, which will in fact increase the spread of HIV. Circumcision is not something that should be encouraged on the grounds of preventing STI's. To do so in my opinion is reckless. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/13 03:07 AM
Out of anyone on Reddit, I thought this sub would like what I found tacked to the bulletin board in my apartment buildingOnce again, you've provided an example of a procedure that leaves no long term damage or mutilation to a perfectly functioning part of the human body. You know what else prevents the spread of STI's? Safe sex. A practice that should be spread far more than the unnecessary mutilation of a baby's penis. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/13 02:57 AM
Out of anyone on Reddit, I thought this sub would like what I found tacked to the bulletin board in my apartment buildingI disagree completely and find your example irrelevant. Getting an education is a long term process that benefits not just the individual, but society as a whole. It's not at all comparable to cutting off perfectly healthy skin from a baby boy's penis. As for your second point, circumcision can be done at any age, not just as an infant. So why should the decision be forced upon someone who may not have wanted it in the first place? There are many men out there who have been circumcised against t… | /r/MensRights | 14/04/13 02:48 AM
Out of anyone on Reddit, I thought this sub would like what I found tacked to the bulletin board in my apartment buildingWhatever you believe, perhaps you should consider that it should be solely left to the individual to decide whether he wants to get circumcised or not? | /r/MensRights | 14/04/13 02:21 AM
Ryerson University Student Union asserts that "misandry doesn't exist" and smears egalitarian students trying to start a Men's Issues clubMarwa Hamad's about-me section on the Ryerson Student's Union website: Ryerson prides itself on its diverse campus, but diversity is lost without inclusivity, and that’s why our work is never done. With your help, I hope to make it impossible to ignore issues of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, able-ism and oppression on our campus. There’s nothing more inspiring than the power and resilience of students who continuously come together to challenge discrimination. Let us continue to stren… | /r/MensRights | 08/03/13 06:14 AM
'My wife is stabbing me, she's trying to kill me ... please help'The last few lines of that story really made me sick. It heard Ms Doyle claimed "it was provocation . . . €900 missing from my account every month". When asked by gardai at the scene if she was sorry, she allegedly said: "No, I'm really not, because of what he did." In a final interview she denied planning the killing, saying: "I didn't completely plan it, if you know what I mean like." She also told gardai she owed €70,000 to a number of financial institutions and she spent money on cosmetic su… | /r/MensRights | 07/03/13 06:50 AM
He says he said no to sex, now says no to child supportKris says his case is different. He's not fighting the child support because he was underage. He's fighting, he says, because he said "no" to the sex. Jessica denies that she forced him to have sex, and she has not been charged with any crime. But Kris' argument in the child support case has the potential to make case law in Florida. It rests on a simple question: Do you believe him? Yes I do. This is not a case of some deadbeat dad forging truths after the fact to get out of having to pay child… | /r/MensRights | 04/03/13 01:49 AM
