Prices raised on cards like the 580 a few years ago, but then it settled down almost entirely. There was almost nothing on GPU mining for a while. Last year before new generation launch, you could get any GPU at MSRP no problem. Then the new cards launched, scalpers realized they can buy and sell at a profit, which they eventually figured out how to do with every other card available, then GPU mining saw a huge boom near the beginning of this year. Edit: also pandemic didn't affect production mu…

You calling them names for not believing what you believe, with your reason being that they do it, sounds childish, immature, and, well, like a feminist. Just because they do something bad doesn't mean it's okay for us to. You are creating a double standard, something subs like this *literally* call out feminists for doing. You are holding them to a different standard, saying they're bad for calling us "scrotes", but then turning around and saying we should start doing it. That's called being pe…

Are you suggesting we stoop down to their level, and reduce ourselves to name calling? I don't like them for generalizing a large group as "scores", and neither do any of you I'm assuming, so countering them with more name calling just makes both sides, including us, degenerates. Honestly. Be better than them.

Good points, but the way you phrased the end show that you aren't very educated on women's modern day struggles. You are probably part of other MRA-related communities, and not feminist communities, so naturally, you are less informed about women's issues. I would know, because I'm the exact same, and I'm not the best person to ask, but I did a bit of digging. From what I've found, it's stuff about "glass ceilings", women in politics and higher positions, "rape culture", reproductive rights, dom…

True, but it isn't as mainstream as it should be. Oh absolutely, and I see that as a major problem for actual equality.
/r/AntiFeminists08/12/20 09:41 AM
1

Fine. Considering definitions don't matter, and the definition is based on the actions alone, then yeah, I agree with pretty much everything you said. Honestly, this sucks. MRA hates feminism and doesn't believe in its value, and the same thing with feminism hating MRA. I never understood why there can't be an in between that is for real equality, and fully realizes that both sexes go through their own problems.

No, again, see, that's the movement being toxic. The main, overarching, ultimate, original point and idea of the concept of feminism was the advocacy of women's rights in favor of equality. It certainly devolved a bit from that, but that's the idea. It's the movement that screwed the idea over

This thread's upvotes and downvotes are giving me a stroke
/r/AntiFeminists08/12/20 09:00 AM

There's a different between the feminism movement and idea. The idea is basically equal rights, however the movement, on the other hand, that's where some of the problems lie, and the reason the idea to tarnish over time.
/r/AntiFeminists08/12/20 08:57 AM

I more meant the idea of feminism is equality for both genders, that that has been modified to be equality for both genders in the favor of women

Um, yes? Isn't that what I literally just said??? That it isn't really needed anymore?

Well obviously not anymore, I was talking more back in the early 1900s
/r/AntiFeminists08/12/20 07:42 AM
-10

I've met and interacted with many feminists, and can tell you that is simply untrue. Feminism at its core is equality, but some mistake that for making women more equal than men, which include the "fake feminists". Heck, even r/askFeminists bans FDS participants, calling them "not real feminists" Here
/r/AntiFeminists08/12/20 04:22 AM
2

So I was curious, so I checked out their website, and found out they had an online shop. You'd expect FDS related items, but nope! Their online shop consists of surfboards, and random overpriced clothes, such as flannel shirts, board shorts, tank tops, and more, and it's only a few items. Very weird.
/r/AntiFeminists04/12/20 05:57 PM
4

Are both sides evil? I feel like feminism itself and what it represents are good, equality for both genders, but then there's the radical feminists who claim to be feminist when they just hate on men, such as FDS, and the "real" feminists fighting for real equality, not necessarily more rights for women and less for men, are the ones allowed to participate because they believe in real equality for both genders. That's just my take on this.

Same. Like I think the father should have a say, but when it comes to abortions in general, I genuinely couldn't care less.

Idk, I don't really see a problem here, just a guy being an ass. He made fun of her looks, so she made fun of his looks. To her, he was being a complete jerk, he made no indication that it was a joke.

So I went to the top posts of the entire sub, found no posts similar to what the sub should be about, none of what you mentioned about how it should be uplifting, most of it was either twitter replies just being a straight up ass to women and men against your beliefs, and then a bunch of low effort memes against women and relationships. Yes, simps are pretty much objectively bad, but valuing your life over theirs is, not gonna lie, pretty fucking toxic, and the fact that you bring up your superi…

You know what? Yeah. I haven't been on there in a while, so maybe it did change. Nope. I just went on there for the first time in a while, went to hot, and 14 of the top 20 posts had nothing to do with the positives of MGTOW, only the negatives of not being MGTOW. Such posts included hating on people trying to make a living, people in relationships (just as I said, even calling them simps), hating on women, etc. Look at the pinned post. Like I get the point, and the idea is good, but the sub is filled with so much women hating it's insane. I dunno. I say she's fine here. Like yeah, she's probably being sarcastic, but if what she said was true, and most of the hate was from men, I don't see the problem calling them out for their experience, or lack thereof. Again, that is IF the hate was mostly men.
/r/AntiFeminists11/11/20 06:58 PM

Exactly. And it makes perfect sense. A sub about asking feminists, I feel that feminists should be the ones answering.
/r/AntiFeminists06/11/20 04:46 AM

I say she was in the right in her actions, if what she said is true and he cut her off. The problem lies in making it a gender thing, and then expecting everyone to worship her for "taking down the patriarchy", aka just a normal situation everyone goes through.

Hold on. Isn't this the opposite? Aren't they saying penis size doesn't matter, and if men are insecure about their penis size, they don't deserve to live? Obviously it's a bit extreme, but I think I might actually agree with that, you shouldn't value yourself on your penis size.

I'm not. Again, where did you get your 2% figure? This has to be my 3rd time asking at least, and you've just been going off topic like crazy. You claimed 2% of America are religious. Where did you get that.
/r/MensRights21/08/20 10:03 AM

Again, still no source. I'm not that it is 50-70%, I'm saying those are the numbers I'm getting,so I'd like to know where you're getting 2%. Also, it isn't uncommon for a non-religious person to get circumcised, just less so that religious people. But anyway, you are absolutely wrong about the whole 2% thing.
/r/MensRights19/08/20 07:37 PM

I need a source for the 2% part. That seems absolutely ridiculous, because I'm getting numbers closer to 50-70%.

Racism is prejudice. There isn't prejudice against any one race if all races are being killed equally.
/r/MensRights08/08/20 06:09 PM
1

So if I killed every single person on the planet in a completely random order, I would be racist? That makes no sense. If you kill all men, you are sexist, not racist, because you aren't killing people based off race, in fact, race has nothing to do with it.
/r/MensRights08/08/20 05:23 PM

Or corner them and ask them if they also mean trans men or trans women when they say "men". They can't win in that scenario.
/r/MensRights08/08/20 03:01 AM

Is it really racist if they are killing black people based on their gender, not their skin color? Same with gay and trans people.
/r/MensRights08/08/20 02:46 AM

What country? It isn't the US, it was founded on the idea of separation of religion from politics.

Define random. Because if it's someone the child or the parent doesn't know, then sure, but if it's a close friend of the parent, I don't see the problem. Also, do you seriously not see a problem from barring an entire gender from the police force?! Same thing can go for men, too, as they shoot more people. The problem isn't a specific gender, it's the fact that anyone can become a police officer in a few months, especially war veterans.

Obviously, but the people on Maury are not representative of society as a whole. The people chosen to go in the show are the most dramatic ones, where they are almost certain what the outcome is. The point of the show is ratings, and making money, and more people will watch terrible people who cheat get revealed than the other way around. The other way around, where the guy is the father, is a whole lot more boring. On a separate note, I would like to see the process of preparing an episode, and…

What are you even talking about?! Women have absolutely been oppressed. They aren't today, but the definitely have been. Remember when it was illegal for women to vote? Fun fact, men were originally called wermen. "man/men" was gender neutral and meant "human", while "wer" was the suffix for "male" (as seen in "werewolf, meaning "man wolf"), and women were called "wifman", with the suffix "wif" meaning "female"

I feel more bad for those women. After their looks and fertility inevitably fade away, unless she's been saving up A LOT, or have other career building skills/knowledge, her life is going to be kind of the worst. No one will want to settle down with someone like that, all her children will be grown up, and her mental health will have been completely destroyed for years at that point.

This post fails to do that. Of course the one raised by Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to be fit, and the one raised by someone who isn't a body builder isn't fit, it's just common sense. If you switched the roles to bodybuilder female and regular man, it would be the exact same.
/r/AntiFeminists08/05/20 04:19 AM

This is a bad post. Obviously the one being raised by Arnold freaking Schwarzenegger is going to be buff and in a good diet. It's less man vs. woman and more raised by a world famous bodybuilder vs. not a bodybuilder

Obviously not, but comparing marriage here to what's going on in India is like comparing apples to oranges. Different situations will almost always lead to different outcomes. Besides, while the outcome may be similar of both situations, the reasons for it happening are so vastly different that they shouldn't really be compared in the first place.

You wouldn't. I'm just pointing out that we can
/r/MensRights29/04/20 03:55 PM

Sure, all that is very hard to do short term, but everything that makes a huge change to society is. It would take a while, probably multiple generations, but it can be done.
/r/MensRights29/04/20 03:55 PM

Breastfeeding, mainly, along with early man trying to find a good partner. Big breasts meant youth and fertility, while smaller ones or saggy ones would mean they might not be fertile, which is useless for reproduction.

If every women does for multiple generations, then most likely. There are obvious exceptions, like the vagina, due to this being the primary sexual organ, but most likely, yes. An example are woman's arms. Woman's arms aren't really sexualized, due to women not really covering it up, and everyone got used to seeing a woman's makes arm.
/r/MensRights29/04/20 03:49 PM
-2

No, desexualizing breasts would be challenging, but very much possible within a few generations. Edit because some people misunderstood me: I obviously think that desexualizing breasts is something that shouldn't be done, I'm simply pointing out that it can be done

The problem isn’t women. The problem is that she had a female username to show off that she is in fact a girl in order to manipulate men to give her stuff. If her name was a standard video game username, she would be treated as a guy, therefore giving her no clear unfair advantage, as most guys who play those games are horny teens who want to get women’s attention.

Pewdiepie isn’t the greatest person ever, either. There are much more suitable and qualified individual creators to be the “face of YouTube”

Life never gave us lemons. Lemons are a hybrid between cotton and bitter orange, so technically, we gave life lemons. Also, you can’t really do anything with plain lemons
