In root cause analysis, this would be ground zero.

Direct hits have definitely been landed on the “purity of women” and the “believe all women” veneers. The moment everyday people like this unfortunate young man begin to be impacted, it is no longer a “this will never happen to me” mentality. Mothers have been put on warning that their sons are not safe. Each publicized event like this will cause a paradigm shift for more and more women who have boys/men in their lives that they care about. Common sense rebalancing the scales of judgement.

It’s a troubling reality we live in where a 9 year old boy has to be the bigger person in a situation with an adult.

The sob stories are legit, this is common when selling low cost or free items. They all come out of the woodwork.

Karen has produced some very insightful videos, she was years ahead of the curve on some of them too.

Advice is an interesting one, especially when it’s coming from people you love or care about like family and friends. The key is to remember that it’s coming from a good place. Even if it’s terrible advice, they mean well. Politely thank them then go your own way.

Good on you my man! I believe that a key for meaningful positive change is strong male role models. You can go your own way figuratively while still being present in the lives of those who are important to you. All the best to you!

I would be interested to hear what exactly is their life’s purpose for those don’t think living in a good health is important.

This is an important question and one I’ve been thinking about a lot. I think the best approach is to be covert in your methods and be as aloof as possible. Minimize your exposure to forced social situations and always have at least one witness around you.

Been there, it’s a process. Meditation helps. Rather than avoid or deny feelings, observe them for what they are and allow them to pass. Rage doesn’t serve you, taking good care of yourself does.

Documentaries, sports, and how-to videos. That’s pretty much all there is.

Like most subs, take what’s useful to you and discard the rest. There’s some sound fundamentals within red pill philosophy that will serve you well, how you use it is up to you. Personally, I’ve embraced the concepts of self improvement because they’re good for me, I don’t really care how women or anyone else respond to it.

Take it a step further, be very polite and do not make any sort of slight to her at all. That will be far more effective In the long run and doesn’t risk any negative backlash towards you.

It’s funny, the red pill analogy from The Matrix rings so true that it’s painful. Once you find your true self and see reality for what it is, things really do change. Being free from the system can feel incredibly liberating, all the best to you!l my friend!

I did the same, a bit of a law of diminishing returns situation. Once you understand the fundamentals, there’s not much meat left on the bone. Honestly, I have a similar problem here. I stay for the quality content that’s focuses on positive elements like enjoying life to the fullest, but man there’s a lot of negative angry trash to sift through sometimes.

This sounds like a problem for someone looking for attention. If you have to say anything, just say that you’re too busy with work/school/whatever right now. The whole idea of going own way to is to go your own way, don’t worry about what others think.

I treat it like every other sub on reddit, 80/20 usually applies. Ignore the nonsense posts and take what makes sense to you from the valuable posts.

I treated those spots as a courtesy to people (not just women) with small children. When my kids were babies and very small, I had no problem parking there if I felt I needed the convenience it offered. When I didn’t need it, I would park in a regular spot and leave it for someone who needed it more.

For me, it was about re-prioritizing my life after a blindside divorce. Once I went down the rabbit hole of red pill and Mgtow information, and discovering the better version of myself that I was becoming, going back didn’t seem like much of an option. Quite honestly, I’m making more progress towards my life goals than I ever did when married, and that is pretty exciting!

This resonates with me, I think very carefully about what I say and do at any corporate function now really try to avoid social activity after-hours, to the point of it being awkward. It used to be a blast, you could get a bit silly all in good fun and everyone had a good time. Those days are over. In the world of guilty even if proven innocent, the risk is just too great.

Research affirmations and incantations, do them in the morning. Get clear on how you wish to be and repeat daily for a month.

Second this, it’s far better to understand and adapt to your opponent than it is to hate them. Everyone is the hero of their own story and they’re only doing what they believe is right, regardless of how misguided they may be.

Clarity. Social media distorts reality. When removed from your life for a sustained period of time, you are forced to focus on more important things.

I think the concept of MGTOW lends itself to this issue, it’s simply too broad of a term in the context of this conversation. In essence, it’s the concept of following your own path to happiness, It doesn’t define what happiness is though so we get a variety of individuals spouting off other concepts because that is part of their version of happiness and calling it MGTOW.

I think the problem is beyond policing, i think it’s a lack of comprehension of future implications. There’s kids beginning to enter their teen years that have their entire life documented (good or bad) on the internet because of how their parents used this new form of communication, that’s not good.

I don’t believe we as humans were mentally prepared or equipped to handle such a drastic change in social behaviour in such a short period. Only time will tell what the true impact will be but I doubt it will be good for one’s mental health.

I watched the video and was inspired for the first time in a long time by a public figure, then really disappointed to hear he backed down afterwards. The merits of his position were just as valid afterwards as they were in the moment, it’s very unfortunate.

It seems like a lot of commenters are misinterpreting a recognition of feelings for decision making evaluation. Put another way, if you’ve ever had to put down the family pet, it was probably a very difficult and emotional thing to do but that didn’t impact your decision to do it, you knew it was the right thing to do. Does that make sense?

It’s interesting that when I needed mentorship in my work in personal life, I took it upon myself to go and find it. I read a vast amount of books, paid out of pocket to go to seminars, hired a performance coach, and more. It never occurred to me to demand that my environment provide for me, I knew it was on me to make it happen for myself. Why should that be different for anyone else, man or woman? Anyone who is serious about achieving anything doesn’t wait around for someone to do it for them.

I think this advice applies beyond male / female relationships. Men who are insecure will take the opportunity to submarine other men who are living their purpose, you can see it happen in business all the time, even when they aren’t a threat.

It’s bad, I’m extra vigilant to set a strong positive example to counteract the conditioning happening in the outside world. I attended a school assembly recently, it really opened my eyes on how kids are being conditioned.

+1 to this, much more value in focusing on the joy in life, plus it leaves very little meat on the bone for critics to pick at.

I started a test about a year and a half ago, I deleted all my social media content and shut down all accounts. What I learned was the majority of it was just noise and distraction with no payoff for time invested. I also found that friends reached out to me personally to invite me to events because they knew I was off the grid, I didn't really miss anything important either. I logged back in once or twice during that time to check in and it totally validated what I had thought: it was all noise…

Worry about the app second and the process first. "Getting Things Done" by David Allen is an excellent resource if you're serious about getting your shit together from a planning perspective. Once you grasp the concepts, you'll have a much better understanding of how to use apps (whether stock or third party) to get your desired results.

Did exactly this, you're not missing anything. I get texts now that say "I know you're not on Facebook, I'm having "X" party and wanted to invite you". The people that matter will find a way to reach you.
