Men love social hierarchies and labels/titles. It's just another divisive "pecking order" where one boosts ones own self by putting down another. And both terms rest upon the female as its foundation, which, funny enough, makes the female the REAL Alpha, if her mere existence is so important that getting her is seen as some kind of prime achievement. At the very least, I think it's pretty corny for some guy to go around calling himself an "Alpha".

You ever notice that 90-something percent of a woman's conversation/sentiments always lead back to men in some way?
