Rather than criteria, I’ve written down questions that get at things that are important to me in a partner. I make sure I ask them or we talk about them naturally in the conversation. I think it’s less rigid and allows you to get their perspective more rather than just disqualify. An example of one of my questions is “what do you do to take care of your mind? Body?”. For me I don’t necessarily need them to go to the gym, but I want to hear how they take think about and practice self-care.

Reading this, you sound awfully judgy. So maybe it’s too much, or maybe it’s just you. A lot of it is “had this in the past…can’t do it again”. That’s very short sighted in my opinion. Not everything manifests itself the same way. An extrovert? I feel like that can look A TON of different ways. The list itself may not seem unreasonable, but your approach does.

What worked for me is being completely vulnerable and transparent. So what. You looked her up. If she’s into you, it shows you were really into her and she’ll love it. If she’s not into you, then guess what, she wasn’t into you so who cares.

Lol. You didn’t text her when you got home because you thought it would make you look clingy??? That makes no sense. Part of it is just making sure that you are home safe and it’s a nice way to wrap up the date. That was a poor decision. I don’t know if that’s the reason why she isn’t responding but it was definitely you be in your head too much. Relax. Be a person.

I think if you really want to get into that a better question is “what’s the best and worst part about dating you?” or maybe a more direct “what would your exes say about you?” rather than talking about a specific relationship. I tend to think that it’s better not to do that at all though. They are gonna tell you through their lens anyway. I’m not sure if it’s the best way to surface red flags

I don’t think it’s supposed to be answered literally. It’s said in a playful, flirtatious way so respond in a playful, flirtatious way. In my opinion, you should come up with that yourself though. That’s the whole point of the banter.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
