ROTFLMAO

So what. That problem isn't generalisations but terrible rhetoric and illogic. It has zero bearing with Vegetable's reproach, who is indeed proving to be a brainless vegetable. "Nice" mansplaining btw.
/r/MensRights30/06/24 01:20 AM

I'd say your line is better. I'm simply saying there's either the individual (and therefore anecdotal) or the general view. You however apply the notion on itself and use that to demonstrate the absurdity, at least that's how I understand you. This is much more powerful in a discussion, thank you for it.

I'm not agreeing I did. But assuming I did indeed, how is that bigot?

What bigotry?

You either talk about individuals or (in) generalisations. There's nothing else, and in terms of politics the individual experience is largely irrelevant. The notion that "this is a generalisation" and thus somehow bad or irrelevant is moronic in epic proportions.

OP's two linked reports (after the Edit) contain the questions. Not verbatim but at least what was asked.

You're obviously right. NSW explicitly targets men only with its Men's Behaviour Change Programs

There are no morals for the women any more though. Those used to be society's expectations, but nowadays where cheating is normal and fucking around is common, that pressure has been done away with. The consequence is the completely unhinged behavior you see today women blame any- and everyone but themselves for.
/r/MensRights27/06/24 04:24 AM

Similar, though my preference is a walk. It makes physical approachment much more natural as there's no barrier/table between us. And if I'm stressed I can work that off easily. Also, I don't do apps. I'm not interested in glossy superficial pictures but in the real everyday woman.
/r/MensRights20/06/24 11:37 AM
6

Yeah, I don't know what to say on that level of antisocial behavior. I guess the big effect isn't the physical wound, that it's much more how you look at strangers going forward.

You're more than a little dense, and don't even understand simple stories like OP's. Assholes like you should stay away from the keyboard.

Of course they do. The notion that they can't, or that blacks (any group, for that matter) can't be racist, or that every white is racist, is in itself racist.

She's right in that you shouldn't use it as an excuse. But neither can she, the fact that she does shows that she's a feminist chauvinist who sees herself superior. Good of you to break up.
/r/MensRights15/06/24 04:41 PM
1

That's what most people will understand including Yours Truly. But neither of those need the oppressor, rather the contrary. So, women can't have been (or be) oppressed by the men and simultaneously have needed them, that's more than a bit of a selfcontradiction.
/r/MensRights13/06/24 07:05 PM
3

Your second paragraph actually makes sense once you consider that the feminist ideology was started by the wives of those 1% men. The other 99% were busy surviving and making a living. It just does't apply to today's ideologues.
/r/MensRights13/06/24 04:43 PM
2

First you'd need to find agreement on the definition of oppression. Being subject to certain necessities, like making a living, is not oppression. The feminist claim that "women no longer need men" proves that there's a massive disconnect, you can't claim oppression while you gain from the situation. The same applies to every topic. The usage of Newspeak is at the very heart of Critical Theory and all its derivatives.

There are plenty. Perhaps not MRA per se but just non-woke, that's the typical socially conservative (which is massively distinct from the typical US Republican lunatic). But at the end of the day it's up to each and every one individual. Stop being a coward hiding in anonymity who leaves the field to the toxic feminist woke cultists, and speak up. Stand up for yourself.

marriage =/= divorce and separation Do you compare to living alone or living together? And of course the value of any advantage is subjective and usually impossible to assign a price to. What's the monetary value of a life-year gained? Now, about that pesky women's gain from marriage and divorce ....
/r/MensRights04/06/24 12:57 PM

Sure, it's nothing new that some whitewash (hihi) everything just as long as it comes from the "right" group, i.e. someone who claims victimhood from the imaginary systemic racism or the made-up patriarchy. All they demonstrate with that, however, is their own bigotry.
/r/MensRights03/06/24 08:11 PM
2

What that notion would require, in order to be relevant rather than a cheap excuse, is that them poor blacks have neither mind nor conscience to decide for themselves, that instead their circumstances dictate their behavior. Therfore the notion itself is based on utter racism, ironically coming from the very ideologues who claim to fight racism. Crime is a choice. That's what makes it crime.
/r/MensRights03/06/24 01:55 PM
3

In the US, some 40% of the homicide victims are blacks killed by other blacks, in most cases both males. The violent crime rate among of blacks is a multiple of the entire population's. Addressing those issue would however refute the woke narrative that blacks are always victims of oppression by the racist whites. And therefore it gets swept under the rug. And of course it goes counter the feminist narrative, that women are the victims of oppression by the sexist and despicable men.

While I agree that this is what OP probably meant, I also disagree that this is what makes it best. For alcohol withdrawal clinic, the best one is the one with the highest success rate. That's what it is for, its reason of being and why people go there.

SIGN: Smear, insult, guilt, and the need to be right. These are ad hominems, character attacks against the opponent. Avoid any kind of emotional reactional, instead stay cool. Their purpose is to control the dialogue and, a) shame/insult/etc the opponent into submission, or b) divert the discussion to the attacked's character (or some other red herring, whataboutsism, or stawman). I generally do (call out) nowadays. Signs and red flags aren't proof. Spotting and naming them is distinct from claiming to know the reasons behind them. The latter is no less despicable than the behavior you call out.

Sounds like a diagnose, something I try to avoid. I'm myself annoyed at no end when people (mostly women) claim to be mindreaders and know my motives and thoughts.
/r/MensRights29/05/24 09:20 PM

These demands don't come from an honest place. The intent behind them to dominate the dialog and simultaneously shame everyone who dares to disagree. Shaming is part of the tactics feminists use, along with insults, and instilling guilt.

Religion is actually what it has become, though perhaps not feminism but the entire woke cult. It's why whoever dares to disagree with any one of its points gets excommunicated entirely aka canceled aka burned at the stake.

As for the WNBA, that sounds quite like what men do. Plus, it increases women's funding. Perhaps there will be a time where they no longer profiteer from the men while bitterly complaining how poorly they're paid even though even that is still massively more than they fairly earn.

You're assuming that grading is equal, and that therefore a better grade is caused by a better job and the result of better preparation. You're wrong. Italy has demonstrated that this is not the case. The boys get graded much harsher, earning up to 0.4 points less on average. Some tests in Italy are centralised, for the important ones everybody has the same questions. The study took those, anonymised the solutions and had them graded a second time. The grades differed by up to 0.4 points, and th…

I didn't mean to say that you do. It's what feminists in particular, and some women in general, do. There is no such thing as fairness on the societal level. That might be possible in a very narrow and simple context, like the handicap in golf. But that's not possible in life at large, it's way too complex and there's no end to the aspects that affect one's life. What you (feminists and you individually) actually want is equity, communist-style equality of outcome, but only in those areas that b…

The child is a tween, it isn't his, yet he raised and co-financed her. The ungrateful mother bitch doesn't lose a single word about that. They had a house, since she moved out it might have been his and possibly kept her from paying rent. Not a single word about that either. Yet according to her it's all the man's fault, she did nothing wrong and didn't profit in the slightest bit. What a duplicitous bitch.
/r/MensRights19/05/24 07:11 PM

I bet men do, too. Women are generally judged less harshly than men. It'll be the same reason why men get harsher prison sentences (70% longer prison term, IIRC) for the same crime of comparable severity.

There is no reliable survey in an environment where a certain type of response is socially required. The same applies to the moronic queries asking "who does more housework, you or your husband". Not even when the questions are posed in a supposedly anonymous manner.

To be honest there's no way to actually know from a distance, for each individual. But everybody's darling, brother, husband, and son, is a stranger to most everybody else. Therefore every man is among the bad guys for most women. To cut the thought short, it makes no sense logically to claim that any one's man is the exception. The same principle applies to the imaginary patriarchy.

You know now that she's a toxic feminist, she hates men. By necessity that includes you. Nobody can tell you how you should feel about it, that's your choice. But I know what I would do, and that is find a good woman instead of this toxic trash.

The "progressives" have become the most vile, racist, sexist, authoriritarian and cultist group there has been for many decades. Whowever dares to disagree, or doesn't claim victimhood like good progressives do, is fair game for all kinds of attacks.

It's very common nowadays for women to use online comments for validation. Given the propensity to automatically blame men, including on here, it's a self-reinforcing vicious cycle.

It doesn't hurt to point out the personal attacks and name that for what they are though. Shaming, insults, and guilt tripping are the common means. Once you point that out they stop pretty quick, otherwise consider retaliating like for like. Not accepting bullshitting you is masculine as well.

They know exactly what they're doing. You don't need to change existing laws to change their meaning if you manage to change the meaning of the relevant terms. There is no such thing as good oppression. The claim that present or future oppresion is justified, pulls the rug from under any assertion that past oppression was bad. Future oppression would punish the sons for the sins of their fathers, most of who were no less oppressed to begin with. Only very few men gained from the oppression. Circumcision seems very much a cultural thing, it's rare in Europe (less than 20% in most countries) and large parts of Asia. See Wiki, prevalence. The shutting up only works because nobody takes a stand, men have become cowards. Take an analytical position and reply to their attacks. Don't react to the words but to what they're doing. The first part is to call out their sexism. Then, an attack like "you're insecure" gets a reply like "you're diagnosing, what's your education again?" or "your personal attack tells me that you have no real arguments". Or "small dick energy" gets "that's bodyshaming", etc. It doesn't really matter what you do…

Look around you. The parents have by far the strongest instinct to protect their offspring, including among mammals. But when one or both parents die, the tribe has a vested interest in raising the children nonetheless. The real issue is that it's not a competition, many have it really bad. But when death is simply ignored, and losing limbs, eyes, ears, and whatnot, simply because it's men suffering and not women, then the cynicism and abhorrent narcissism is nothing short of despicable. Most of all because most women that cunt spoke to were definitely not among the women who had to flee.

Depending on the survey, 30% or more of the domestic violence victims are men. Yet the western authors all have female names. Everybody uses technology yet 90% or more in the STEM field are men. Everybody uses medical services yet 90% of the nurses are female. Yadda yadda yadda. That doesn't even take into account the influence of today's toxic feminist ideology according to which all women are oppressed victims of the imaginary patriarchy and therefore by the evil men.

Is that matriarchy though? IMHO gynocentrism is different, think "women and children first". To me, an -archy is one head (usually one individual) who rules. Usually they are selected from/by an inner circle. Like the Catholic church, where the cardinals elect the pope from among them. But of course the pope doesn't have that much power any more in the western world.
/r/MensRights27/09/22 09:52 PM

I think there's some logic to that though. The US military tries hard to open even the most difficult roles to female soldiers, but that requires a lowering of admission requirements. The consequence is that it weakens the group, and all involved suffer for it. Bottom line: fighting roles will predominantly have to be filled by men if you want the strongest troups. But nothing speaks against women in backwards positions, logistics and whatnot.

The same applies to HBCUs, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, about 100 still exist in the US. Let's assume we have 100 people with gender dysphoria. Historic data suggest that 40 will die by suicide. Today, with all the means available, it is claimed that after transition "only" 20 commit suicide, and concluded that the procedures worked/helped because that's 20 fewer deaths. The term survivors is completely inappropriate, the topic is rape not attempted murder. This overdramatisation and misuse of words is part of the problem that is today's toxic and sexist feminism. And of course teaching avoidance strategies is useful. The claim that this targets the wrong audience is just part of the pervasive axiom that women never hold responsibility or accountability, it's always and only the men. All men for that matter, which is obviously sexist.

You're not a feminist, that's a political movement to increase women's powers, advantages and privileges without any responsibilities based on their sex alone. No, feminism is the push for more women's privileges and advantages to the detriment and discrimination of men. I have yet to see a feminist argue against women's 50% higher rate in tertiary education. That will never happen because the status quo discriminates against men and that's perfectly fine for them.

I think the only "good" reaction, if you do react, is to reflect her words. "You say you hate me so why should I care." and similar stuff. Also, you could questiion question her position the way she attacks you "why doyou hate men", "who hurt you" and "you wanting to kill all men isn't evidence of women's moral superiority". The big hurdle will be for you to control your (completely justified) anger and stay calm. Be Stoic. And best of luck.

"..privileged ... oppression ..." How on earth could they know your motives? Can they read minds? That's pure projecting, they're talking about themselves with this. You can see the same in the context of abortion. There's no shortage of women who claim that the becoming mother will have the embryo/fetus killed out of utter motherly love. It's pure orwellian newspeak.

Take notes, ideally in the form of a diary with daily entries. This helps you reflect, and creates a ... trail, for lack of a better term. It may also help with the start of the below. Since nobody will listen, buy a listener aka a therapist. Not so much for therapy itself but to get confirmation from an (more or less) independent person that your concerns indeed hold water. Then take it from there.

The other way round: Some women have very painful menstruations. Spain plans to introduce the right to paid leave (apparently without even limiting the number of days) for women based on this. Of course pain can't be proven, this is open to unhinged misuse. Btw this refutes the feminist claim that women deserve the same pay for the same job. No rational feminist would even think of providing that option to women on this reason alone.

If she says no she gets her will, same as today. Stuff like surrogacy is between the two, provided it's legal, there just can't be any revision of that against his will. If she says yes vs his no, he gets to opt out of fatherhood rights and duties. If that decision happens early enough she can still change her mind to have the fetus aborted. The question is why MRAs get labeled misogynistic. Not once but continuously. You'll find the same tendency in every Wiki page I'm aware of that is on this range of topics. That's neither an outlier nor are the editors people with a fair discussion in mind and a slip of tongue.
/r/MensRights30/06/22 01:56 AM

You won't find too many racists or white supremacists who proudly self-identify as such in public. The vast majority who get smeared as misogynist will vehemently disagree. With feminists it's pretty much the opposite. Nope, I didn't forget that term.
/r/MensRights30/06/22 01:15 AM

No, there's no acceptable reason to smear others in a fair discussion with those terms, without clear evidence, just because one doesn't like the other's position. The acceptance this is met with is actually part of the problem, I bet they would stop pretty quickly in general if they were met with outspoken fair criticism.

The irony is that the rights are equal by banning abortions. The alternative is to have reasonable abortion laws coupled with the father's right to opt out of his fatherhood privileges and duties. Both have the same rights or neither.

That's what they try indeed. But you can easily turn that around by addressing their tactic explicitly, a simple "this is a smear, a smear is not an argument" will usually do. On other occasions something like "a feeling is not an argument" may do as well. Also see my other post.

Of course human life starts with conception, that discussion's been settled decades and generations ago. I hate to possibly sound like a smartass, but I would posit that a baby is by definition a person with all the rights human persons have as that noun is used after birth only. So the question is on the situation before birth, at what developmental stage the embryo becomes a person or otherwise starts to acquire human rights, most importantly the right to life and protection thereof by the sta…

Actually they do all the time, everywhere. Just as an example, your freedom to grab and take what you like is limited by the other's right to possession and owndership, and (in case you wanted to grab a person) their own personal rights and freedoms. The question is where the balance (limit of one's vs the other's) is deemed to be.

It's a biological, and thus scientific, definition. Do note that we're talking about mammals thus cellular life. Look it up, educate yourself rather than demonstrating your ignorance on here. You might actually learn something for once.
/r/MensRights29/06/22 06:52 PM
1

Wrong. Cellular life requires a metabolism and the to capacity to reproduce. The metabolism (possibly parts of it) may already be present in the ovum, but the capacity to reproduce is acquired by conception. This is established biology and accepted scientific fact since many decades. The only one getting technical is you. You're making up an issue only to use that as a base to state that what you're saying is meaningless. I do agree with this last point.

0.1% of men plus their families, which would include a majority of women. Concubines chose that role because it benefitted them, not because they were forced. Concubines are a poster case of women who wait at the finish line in the hopes of getting selected by the winner. The Kingdom of Great Britain, roughly today's UK, was established in 1707. I disagree with the black oppression. When 3 out of 4 children are born out of wedlock, and half of them grow up in a single parent household, you basically condemn the next generation parenthood to poverty and crime. You need to update your knowledge about Russia/USSR. Putin's disregard for life has a very long history, it goes back at least two centuries. As for the "want women to die", there's no way to communicate in a manner that can't be twisted and misinterpreted by a malevolent mind. There's no doubt that men in general have the potential to be violent. The first but is, that this applies to women just as much, they merely act it out in different ways. The 2nd but is, that this is why a proper upbringing is crucial, that the boys get taught to channel their aggression properly (and disciplined when appropriate, that's much more often necess…

I don't say it would be Ok. But it's definitely be understandable. What would you say if it was the other way round? Let's say her ex not only raped her but utterly destroyed her entire socioeconomic existence on top of the rape, which includes removal of her parental rights. In Germany, a study on ~2k cases from the year 2000 found that in 7.4% of what was initially presented as rape or sexual coercion, the accuser was prosecuted for faking a crime or false allegations. Because it's also evidence that changing your appearance doesn't change your sex. That the chromosomes decide and that can't be changed. In Germany, of the ~2k cases reported as rape or sexual coercion in the year 2000, some 7% resulted in the accuser getting prosecuted for faking rape or false accusations. This is from a study by the BKA, the federal German authority charged with investigating and prosecuting the 2k cases (roughly comparable to the US FBI).

"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but there's always something to offend a feminist." (shamelessly copied from Peter Lloyd. Kate Smurthwaite's reaction is pure comedy gold and immediate confirmation) The main hint is the name itself, it excludes all men. By its very definiton. Which, as a sidenote, is astonishingly exclusive coming from a group that harps about little else than inclusivity. Your 2nd paragraph is further corroboration. But you can't really argue ideologues, if they don't see…

"not inevitable" If that simplistic monocausal "theory" held it would be, because it would increase reproduction, that's simple Darwinism. Emphasis on monocausal. As for the rest, you're arguing against a point I don't make. There's obviously more utility to males for the survival of the species than their sperms alone (i.e. not monocausal). At least used to be.

Neither women nor children survive without a certain number of men. If it was as simple as that "theory" suggests, evolution itself would have effected change in that direction and there'd be quite a few more girls born than boys. Instead boys outnumber girls by a couple percentage points.

There was/is a kinda similar case in Switzerland. The chief of a psychiatric institution was accused by a former patient of rape and sexual harrassment. He had treated in that institution. As usual his career suffered significantly even though he had the support of employer and family the entire time. Even the attorney general doesn't believe her and suggested a "not guilty" (a first in his entire career). The verdict is pending. The perplexing part is that during the interrogation, when asked i…

If I may say so, don't phrase it like that. Instead say something like you're concerned for your own personal safety, for instance because of fabricated allegations of sexual harrassment and assault. This is also for the supervisor's benefit, nobody likes to deal with this stuff.

A quip or personal joke is best answered by another quip or personal joke, if she can't stand that she shouldn't start it. It doesn't matter if your retort was sexist or not, nothing justifies that reaction. Avoid, and be glad you no longer have to deal with her. If you speak again call her out for her threats and don't accept anything less than her asking on her knees for your pardon, if you had reacted like she did you might have gone to jail.

Talking about it in any format automatically gets you labeled as well. It saddens me on a primal level. Just ask which part is deemed misogynist. The same applies to pretty much every attempt to silence people with one of those -ist words. Not productive or helpful, but if you want to trigger them entirely, you could continue with asking in which ways they emphasize with white men. Or the ways they support white male victims of domestic violence.

Switzerland: - the draft only applies to men. The share of officers is far higher among female soldiers. - military tax for men who don't serve, no such tax for women - women's pension age is 64, for men it's 65 - pensions are the same for both sexes, assuming same contributions, even though women live longer and therefore profit 20-25% more - divorce, women are clearly favored (though there's a trend to remove the graves disciminations) - the husband is the child's father by law. I think the slap was faked. When you receive a real slap full swing from a man of Smith's height and weight, there's no way the inside of the cheek won't be torn open. That would have meant thinned blood on Rock's teeth when he continued. And the target won't keep standing there like nothing happened, you need to take at least a step to keep or regain your balance. And you're dizzy, people can get knocked out with a slap. Remember, Smith had just won an Oscar for his acting.

Will Smith looks like he's hitting full swing, with his open hand. He's half a foot taller than Rock and probably quite a bit heavier. Chris bows his head when Smith approaches, that would enable Smith to hit his cheek very easily but it also enables the open hand hitting the neck instead, sliding along the neckline to make it sure he doesn't hit the face. What kind of full swing hit is that where the target, Chris Rock, neither needs to take a step to keep the balance nor has bloody spittle on …

There's a massive difference between "a critical theory" and "the Critical Theory". It should be blatantly obvious that neither is the same as the Critical Race Theory, you're fantasizing things I didn't even touch on. Now, what did Peggy McIntosh base her trash on? With that I rest my case.

I agree with this, but that's not feminism (please note the "feminists" in OP's question). Critical Theory, the ideological base of contemporary toxic feminism, postulates oppression of all women by all men (basically Marx' class warfare with different groupings), i.e. the oppressive patriarchy. That makes all men perpetrators and bad while it declares all women as morally superior victims. Based on that the women get to demand from the men (society at large, because it's been built by men) some…

You're implying that women, in their entirety, are victims. They're not, everybody has agency. That victimhood mentality is the main reason why feminism is toxic and outright harmful, women aren't expected to fix their problems but have someone else do the job for them.

Feminism is a power game, a push towards power. By shutting you down, and discussions on male problems in general, they make sure the discrimination of men continues to increase.

It's good old double standards and hypocrisy. Doesn't matter if she claims to invoke feminism. In fact Critical Theory (CT), which 3rd wave feminism is based on, postulates class warfare (men oppressing women and all other minorities including black folk, and victimising them), just between differnt groups than Marx wrote. By definition a victim always has the moral higher ground, that's why there's no way, in her feminist thinking, for her to do any wrong against you man, it's simply not part o…

People who miss a good script, well executed and transformed into an unpretentious movie without an ulterior message, may like Nobody (probably will). Because it's not about rights, that's a lie. There may be a few rare exceptions left in the western world, but overall there's no right a man has that a woman doesn't have. However there are quite a few rights and opportunities women have that are not available to men. The reality is that it's about power. You can't increase one half's power without decreasing the other's, that's like a seesaw. That's why MRM channels get shut down, each and every one is a threat to feminism's aspirations for mo…

To clarify:Equal rights and opportunities refers to the individual's rights against the state. It doesn't refer to what happens among and between private individuals (as long as it doesn't criminal or otherwise illegal). Equal rights means, for instance, that every citizen can run for public office (certain exceptions are likely to apply).

In this context, equality is usually meant as equal rights and opportunities, that only applies against the state, it doesn't apply between private individuals (for instance, no force in this world can force other posters to treat posters ImportantResults and mikesteane the same).

Your version of fair is different from most other people's. The answer to "what's fair(just) for a murderer" will differ if you ask the culprit's parents or the victim's parents, to take an obvious situation. The judge may have yet another different thing in mind, the jurors as well. And so on. IMHO what is needed is some mechanism to cushion the biggest hardships. Some sort of social net that catches the worst cases. However that only covers the hardest outcomes, first you need to chose and try…

The reason is that men and white people are seen as not vulnerable. It's only marginally less idiotic as the claim that it's impossible to be racist against white people. The crazy thing is that the feminists and woketivists invalidate their own claim that men and women are equal (likewise that there's no difference between being black and white) because being vulnerable is obviously inferior and less worthy.
/r/MensRights06/08/21 11:10 PM

Nah, women are wonderful, mostly. Feminists however are a different thing because ideology is a choice. Some are male, others female, which shows that it's not about their sex. Thus they're fine to hate, discriminate against, or attack in any way you see fit.
