(The Guardian) MankeepingThe contempt radiating off of this article at the very idea of supporting one's partner is insane. When everything becomes transactional, basic humanity becomes something you can be aggrieved about. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 24/06/25 09:20 PM
Misandrist feminism is a right-wing movement and it's time we stop treating these people as progressivesI'm curious what left policies you believe were pushed for or achieved under Obama? He had the perfect opportunity to transform this country in his first term and shied away from that completely. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 14/04/25 02:34 PM

Fd Pushes The Point That Misogyny And Racism Were To Blame For The Election Loss, Asking To Be Rebuffed. Its The Misandry From The Left That Cost Them The ElectionThe idea that policies aren't impactful on election results is an assumption both OP and FD put forth without evidence. The social democrat policies in Mexico are a major factor in Sheinbaum, a woman, was elected as a member of the incumbent party. Perhaps if the Democrats put forth similar policies and, more importantly, delivered them under Biden, they would have enjoyed similar results. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/11/24 08:39 PM

Hypocrisy of Therapists,I'm sorry you received such a poor education. In my coursework, the only time we looked at the Kitty Genovese case was as an example of misinformation leading to faulty research, a vast public overstating of the bystander effect and as an early example of pop psychology. It was taught alongside the Stanford Prison Experiment and many other examples of the problematic history of the field. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/11/24 12:17 AM
Hypocrisy of Therapists,Are you talking about, like, therapists talking on IG or their work as therapists? In the USA, Therapists are required to have a license to practice and every ethical violation that's reported to a state's licensing board is investigated. The one thing that, if confirmed, therapists always lose their license for, is sexual contact with clients. Frankly, if your therapist is sharing so much of their own ideology in sessions, I question the quality of treatment you are receiving. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/11/24 11:55 PM
Men's issues in society being self-inflictedNo I mean post-Capitalist healthcare, not the rationing and profiteering which remains in social democracies and their healthcare systems. And I've conceded. As things stand, many resources are allocated in a zero-sum fashion. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/11/24 01:23 AM
Men's issues in society being self-inflictedHealthcare is a perfect example. As leftists, we should be fighting for universal health care for all where the artificial restraints of markets are not a factor and care is freely offered and abundant, not fighting between identity groups for the biggest slice of a shitty pie. You're right, much is currently set up as a zero sum game favoring different identities and classes over others. I would have been smarter to say that it's not inherently or inevitably so. I fear if we're focused solely o… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/11/24 12:13 AM
Men's issues in society being self-inflictedWait. Are we calling radlibs with a boys vs. girls gender obsession leftists now? If they aren't anti capitalist they aren't a leftist. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 14/11/24 11:38 PM
| -2 | Men's issues in society being self-inflictedI mean, it definitely isn't. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 14/11/24 11:33 PM |
Why Does Reddit Allow Subs (the one with 15 Million women and others) That Promote Open Misandry?Ah haha. I know that mod! They banned me from a YouTuber's sub because they didn't like seeing some not-particularly-radical leftist takes. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 07/11/24 01:39 PM
Watching Michelle Obama's speech to men made me realise that no other minorities besides women truly matter to Democrats. (and possibly everyone else)Well, see, they feel entitled to black votes. White votes need to be won by running away from any policy they might find scary and giving them an army of Republican endorsements to reassure them. If you're black, muslim, or anyone slightly left you get nothing but condescension and bullying. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/11/24 09:35 PM
Question for my fellow LWMA's, how do we respond to statements such as this one?Strange that they rarely take the party to lesbian bars. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 25/09/24 12:26 PM
everyone's equal, but someAlternately, if you're Israel, just kill whoever you like and afterwards label them enemy combatants. Eventually you can just not even bother pretending to justify the bombing of schools, hospitals, and refugee camps. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 29/08/24 04:14 PM
