I feel the same way, I understand the need to get away and have space to yourself . No matter how much you love someone, you dont want to spend every minute with them.

You're right we need to be pro active as well, i was thinking only about treating the sexes the same but our criminal justice system dose focus to much on detering crime and dosent give prevention enough attention. You are also right that couoles bedrooms are shared and its not ok for a woman to act like she alone owns it. I do like your idea of each having their own space to get away from the other. You are right I pushed one option but it is important to explore any that are avaliable, sex toy…

You do the crime you do the time, shouldn't matter the sex of the offender

Male and female sex drives are very different, male hormones cycle daily and females monthly. Males tend to have higher drives and mood in the am that tapers through the day. Females have 2 weeks of higher drive and mood (follicular phase) and two weeks lower drives and mood (luteal phase). Not sure on best way to reconcile the two. Sex toys for men do exist though as an option. Couples should talk and agree on decorations especially for the bedroom. I do agree mens only spaces need to be respec…

I came here to hear mens side of the "gender war" honestly shocked by what men go through.

I understand some women want to be single moms, and it is incredibly difficult to raise a child alone. But, making your own money isn't about single parenthood. Some of us dont want kids, some are happily married. A woman making her own money helps with gender equality because it takes the pressure of if men to be the provider and give her the freedom to work. I do agree that a win - win solution is needed. Many women fear ABUSIVE men, and rightly so, this can result in a living hell or even dea…

No, dont be sorry. No one need so apologize for being here. Boys deserve protection too. Men's SA dosent get the awareness it needs. If men have to stay they are DYING in combat, that's suffering because of the war. And those who survive combat often come home injured. Many combat veterans are disabled because of their service.

They aren't a majority of those who work on infrastructure, but they are there. Not knocking mens contributions to society. I have seen several construction sites as I live in Louisiana and they are always working on the roads. They are mostly men. Women cops and judges exist. Majority of nurses, nurses practitioners, laboratory technicians and veterinarians are Women. Without hospitals men would be cooked. Both contribute to our functioning society. Everybody works and everything runs smoothly.

Thank you for educating me on the male experience brother. I do think its not fair to expect men to put themselves in harms way first, defense should be everyone's responsibility.

I understand. I personally only want gender equality. Intention vs impact, feminist need to do more to understand the impact this movement has had on men, particularly with male victims of violence. They need to look at both sexes not just women. Thank you men of r /men's rights for speaking out. Men and women need to listen to each other more to ensure both are treated fairly.

Im not blaming you, simply stating we need better mental health infrastructure for men, particularly single men who dont want to be and those who recently went though a break up

I think of feminism as the belief in gender equality, what are you thinking of?

This is nuts, I'm so sorry you guys have to deal with this. It's hate regardless of the target.

This is insane, you shouldn't be getting in troubble for what she did. This should not be normalized. A pre school child can learn to keep their hands to themselves, she's supposed to be grown.

NO ONE is allowed to touch you without your consent. As a woman that cares, you do NOT exist for women, you simply exist. You owe us nothing. Screw society, screaming lies loud and long enough dosent make them true. Men should absolutely have the right to defend them selves like anyone else. NO is a complete sentence you DO NOT owe women access to your body, time or bank account. You are enough as you are 💚

I've recently heard of the lack of DV shelters that accept men and I'm appalled. We need to do better as a country. Your frustration about what you hear is understandable, i get frustrated by what I see online too. It's like death by 1000 cuts, you see enough attacks aimed at your group, it builds. For what it's worth, I care I'm in this sub to listen to the men's side of things.

Men fear going out at night? Yes, we are hearing this from other women. Thank you I had no idea.

We should have better mental health support for these men. Suicide must always be taken seriously, we are all human

I've seen this from the woman's side, it's less about getting a man's money (most of us prefer to make our own) that it is fear of violence. Fear of DV, abuse and sex trafficking is drilled into us from childhood. We are in a cost of living crisis, even couples are chosing not to have kids due to the cost. Dual Income No Kids (DINK) couples are becoming a thing.

Exactly, feminism is supposed to be about equal human rights but it seems yall are getting alot of hate. Hate for acknowledging that men are human and need protection too is wild.

That's crazy I didn't know Reddit did this, hate is hate. ANYONE taking their life should be taken very seriously, regardless of sex.

Im with you brother, easily accessible statistics need to be avaliable for ALL intimate partner violence

A new name would be good, more inclusive of both sexes.

Right, feminism should not be at odds with men needing support, feminists need to stick to equality. Both sexes should support each other Edited for spelling error

I would like to see OPs sources on this, won't deny false accusations are happening but data would tell us to what extent.

I dont need a man means don need to be in a relationship with one, not society dosen't need men in general. Women now also keep the lights on, infrastructure running, law and order. I want both sexes to have equality. You don't need to drag women down to lift men up. Being single is a valid choice both men and women can make. We are also seeing the rise of dual income no kids (DINK) couples. The economic crisis is more to blame, people are having less children because they cant afford it. I do a…
