1	Looking for a theory on gender equality Well, I agree that nowadays sexism is clearly hurting men more than women, but I consider gender privilege to be like two sides of the same coin, while a woman is automatically considered weak, a man is automatically considered strong and both suffer prejudice because of that. I apologise if my words were misinterpreted, what I meant is that most (if not all) feminist theory does not consider female privilege and I want a theory that looks at both sides of the coin.	/r/MensRights	05/07/15 03:16 AM

2	Looking for a theory on gender equality I understand your point of view and I also think it's ridiculous that I need to base my point of view about sexism on somebody else's theory, but in sociology it is often seen that you are encouraged to think for yourself... as long as you have somebody famous to back you up. 1	Looking for a theory on gender equality Of course men and women are different, I didn't express myself clearly. Better said I would argue that anything that considers one gender above the other in any way, shape or form without any hard evidence to support it is sexist. What you argue about male privilege being a fiction is very interesting indeed, this is exactly why I came into this forum to ask this instead of a feminist-oriented one.
