let me reiterate, I'M A BARTENDER, excise cops don't care if you checked it and it got past you, the bar and bartender will still be fined and the bartender may lose their liquor license. listen dude, that shit doesn't work anymore, especially with guys. unless he spends bookoo bucks on a fake that actually has his picture on it, the first time he tries to use that ID they will either take it and tell him to fuck off or take it and call the cops on him. i don't know what school he goes to, but there must be house parties out there he can hit up, bars are over priced anyway.

But nobody says shit when they walk around with their appletini's. adults drinking isn't the problem, they are letting minors into the bar and then someone is serving them. the bar won't get shut down from the first infraction, the minors drinking will either be ticketed or arrested and a hefty fine will be levied against the bar. i guarantee they don't let minors in after that. trust me i've been a bartender for 10 years.

His book Post Office, in the novel his character Henry Chianski was working at the Post Office as a letter carrier, gets fed up with it, quits, and starts making money betting at the horse track. He makes enough to pay the rent, the bills and buy food. His girlfriend decides he's being a bum because she is the one working at this point in the story. It struck me as a sharp critique of "equality" feminism strives for. I thought it might be appreciated here.
