Right. I was very blunt, told her she could FIX these things, and she did make some changes, too. She stopped smoking pot, made some efforts toward fixing her teeth (gonna take a year or two, they're so bad). But it would require a ton of support from me, and a long-term haul towards fixing it all. I question whether I should have given up and been so harsh, too. A lot would need to change.
