Me ex wife was a god fearing woman when we married but by the time we divorced she had stopped going to church and praying. God fearing or not, I just treat all women the same.

I like this take. People will always tell you to take the moral high ground but sometimes some people don’t deserve your forgiveness. But to be fair, forgiveness will heal you because you’ll be able to let go of the pain drawing you to her. If you hate someone they have power over you - I think Mike Tyson said that.

Felt like I was living in a dream. Everyday I’d wake up and expect to be in our apartment. This lasted for about a week.

If you truly did fuck up own it and learn from your mistakes. But I thought like you for the first 2 months of separation & blamed myself for the breakup but once i gained clarity and spent less time thinking about her I began to realize there’s nothing I could’ve done differently. Even if I did change in the ways she wanted me to change she would just find something else to complain about. The relationship was doomed from the start.

It’s not worth it bro. Just find someone you like, one that doesn’t want you to sign a contract and live with her. There’s no point in getting the government involved in your life.

Broooo mine also complained that we didn’t go out much. Meanwhile traveling was my biggest expense every year thanks to her & I don’t even like traveling that much. Women I swear - strange creatures.

Did we all marry the same woman? My ex wife had to be doing something all the time & if she wasn’t she would get sad and emotional. Like you guys, there was always some event or errand she wanted me to run & if I didn’t want to go to one of her events she always took it personally. Meanwhile I just wanted some silence & peace. Now that I’m divorced I have that, peace. One things for sure, it’s going to be very difficult to let another women interfere with my calm energy & peace again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
