3	Women rights groups oppose making rape gender-neutral. Shouldn't a current rate of being abused be far more relevant? The lifetimes rates can be useful for historical reference, but I don't think that rates collected over decades are nearly as relevant today as the (almost) current rate. It doesn't make sense to judge something on outdated statistics. I would imagine that the number of people willing and qualified to do childcare better matches the demand of society for such workers, compared to the supply/demand of engineers.
