That sounds like a lot more women with opinions on my relationship. No thanks.

Girl you can do better than both of them. You might need some practice scanning profiles
/r/RedPillWomen30/12/25 06:07 PM

Absolutely. This was the biggest thing I learned that made me less anxious about my body. Some men (a lot actually) genuinely like plus sized women. Focusing on that majority and vetting and dating men properly got me a great successful man that waits on my hand and foot.

“We focus on this loud majority” …who is we? You can focus on what you want… People like Chrisean don’t exist outside of The Shade Room and social media baiting discussions. There’s certain TV shows, podcasts, YouTube channels, you can really ignore and you won’t be as beholden to this. Media, across all cultures, focuses on what’s an outlier for clicks and views. Maybe they get the most “attention” … because they need the most social support? The best thing you can do is divest from what social…

The roommates watching the tv they couldn’t chip in on after I got home ready to watch a movie…..never again lol

I stayed and it was a lukewarm relationship that was really hard to get out of.

It was embarrassing and had racial undertones. Killed? With no weapon?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 04:20 PM

Thank you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 03:49 PM
14

Absolutely. I turned up my nose at abstinence in the past because of those religious undertones. It’s so much more fulfilling when it becomes a choice you’re making on your own. It doesn’t have to be so black/white.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 03:46 PM

Exactly. My ex would’ve never defended me. THAT is a LVM. Also, ladies: it’s an open handed slap. That was gracious. More publically embarrassing than violent in my opinion.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 01:39 PM

I feel the same. There’s definitely some cultural nuances in there that make me wanna not even discuss this around mixed company.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 01:04 PM

Purrrrr sis. I know that’s right 😂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 01:01 PM

Period.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 01:01 PM
33

Exactly. That’s why I’m glad he got slapped. He would’ve NEVER made a joke like that to Selma Hayek or whatever. Black men are too comfortable and Will slapping him felt like someone defending me. Like shut the fuck up.

Same!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 12:59 PM

People snap. He’s rich. I don’t think we should look too deep into it. I think it was Will defending his family’s honor rather than just Jada. There was a lot of disrespect onto the red carpet leading up to it. Also, for context, the black wealthy people of Hollywood are in very close community with eachother. So add in that it’s not “just a comedian” this is another friend/colleague who’s been in the business with you for 20 years. Who knows what was going through his head? As a black person, I…

Same here.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/03/22 06:38 PM

Exactly. And this is coming from someone in a BIG community with lots of hobbies. You still feel shitty when everyone pairs off. I can’t “prioritize my girlfriends” if they genuinely are shifting to prioritize their men.

Girl, kick this man out your mama house! It’s so much easier to lie and deceive when you’re getting something out the situation (living with you and mom). The “fuck all those (race) girls” is particularly jarring and I wouldn’t even have time to type this post cause I would be packing his shit. That’s really gross and alarming.

It’s not normal. She must work for the FBI because 60k is a pretty comfortable living/something to be proud of here as a young adult.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/12/21 02:56 PM
26

Exactly. She’s convincing herself she’s keeping things private …. By paying for him? What?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/12/21 02:55 PM
12

She’s being weird. She’s afraid to lose him I guess because of her trauma. She should’ve just told him when they became exclusive and been ready to breakup if he started acting strange. 60k is not minimum wage money…I’m sure he could still pay for dates no matter how much SHE makes.

Never never never never never never never never. Even if it “works” you aren’t their type (because they would’ve asked you out) so they’ll just date you because they’re flattered, and when they’re over it they will try to be “friends” aka emotional labor and free sex.

You don’t sound ridiculous. I know this sub makes each other seem super vigilant and red-flag spotting superheroes…..but personally, I’m just a young girl out here trying to build a stable partnership without having been modeled one by my parents. Vigilance is important but you aren’t a clown for wanting to be romanced and seeing the good in someone. “How could I be fooled?” Because you’re a sane person who doesn’t manipulate someone just for sex. I’m so proud of you for sticking to your values …

Baby there’s no formula or cheat code 😂😭

These posts make me ick. There’s also those like “when Christmas is in 2 weeks and he likes expensive shoes” from girls 18-25 like baby, WHAT? They are picking up shifts at manual labor jobs like Amazon and UPS, breaking their backs on their vacation to buy a dusty a PlayStation. You are not his parent…. I love giving and receiving gifts too but if you don’t HAVE IT to give - why is he even letting you work like a mule?

Very much covert racism

Thank you for telling me she’s biracial cause now you’re a racist and I know exactly why she left. 😇 He “othered” her so quickly and revealed his true biased colors. She knew to cut her losses now. Over a TOWEL, dude? Why would she care if your family “made fun” and why do you? You would rather remove her favorite self-care product than verbally stick up for her? Ah yes, embarrassed insecure white boyfriend. NEVER doing that again.

This is how those “ethically non-monogamous” guys get you. We fawn over that they can “communicate about feelings” but they’re really just manipulating/gaslighting you like a mastermind.

Your friends are hating cause you have standards and their boyfriends are a lil ugly. When you level up, a lot of people around you will start to project their insecurities and point fingers at you. This might be a time where you have to work on A) Being your own friend, stepping away from that group and B) Socializing and networking with other new friends who see things the way you do. Hope this helps.

Randall Pearson from This is Us. I don’t know if I want him to be my counselor or my husband lol. Family man, hardworking values works through his trauma with his wife and family. I think This is Us in general has so many relationships to pinpoint FDS principals and family relationships.

This is so funny bc it was a huge pet peeve with my ex, him walking ahead of me and not holding my hand/waiting for me. And while I was back there, I had time to say to myself, “God, I kinda hate your posture and the way you dress yourself”

Queen Latifah is one of my favorites so I think Imma have a marathon with all of her romcoms! I love this community. Hahaha wow I gave my ex excuses too! That “maybe I just have to show him because he hasn’t had a lot of experience” but did we even know that or just tell ourselves that story? He was so emotionally closed I really knew nothing about his love life before me. I’m right here with you, omg! Here are my tips: - Look into attachment styles. Me and my ex. Ladies, he wasn’t even a huge macho douchebag. The quiet, nerdy gamer guy is capable of this too. I’m so glad I had resources like therapy and FDS to make me realize it wasn’t normal. I didn’t grow at all, he gave me no validation as a partner, was dismissive avoidant af and had me hanging onto the little crumbs of affection when he decided to leave his game room. I’d convinced myself I just needed to much. So happy I’m free!

I thought my gamer boyfriend was the best option because “hey, at least he’s keeping up with his friends from childhood and has a support system”. 😂😂 I am THAT afraid of men without friends. He was rarely present and never tried to include me, not that I’d want to. He literally never paid attention to me outside of meals together and would just go back and game. Sometimes he stayed up until 4 am and would call out of work the next day saying he “doesn’t feel good” (has a cushy tech job and liter…

This definitely happened to me!!!! He would just go missing for weeks at a time after spending the night. He was so romantic and always calling during his “breaks at work” which made me feel he really wanted to see me. But then I realized we’d been doing this for a year, lived in the SAME CITY, and if he wanted to be committed with me/take me out, it would’ve happened already. He made me feel CRAZY!!! I argued under this post with a couple folks. “So backshots are childish?” “I can have whatever type of sex I please, this is judgemental.” and honestly, a few years ago I would’ve said the same thing. No matter the position - it’s obvious someone is just using your body to “get off” versus when they’re actually engaging with your body trying to please you.

same. It’s so freeing. I don’t care cause y’all don’t meet my standards anyway. I’m actually glad I was harassed by them in middle school, with my low self-esteem and desire to be accepted I would’ve got pregnant or tied down dragging them through life. Nah! 💓

Genius!!! This is a great way to communicate this. I felt like I’m “dressing up for men” but no, I’m just being kind enough to visually show them what my standards are, so they can take notice and match my energy. My ex was homely af and failed to elevate, dragged me down right with him. I was looking dusty. Make these men feel out of place!!!

Ugh! You’re such a queen! It was very difficult, I’m only 24 but I never really had any fulfilling relationships around me. My mom has low self-worth so I thought I hit the jackpot if a man didn’t cheat and pay the bills. But what’s that if you’re miserable? Thank you so much. Its nice to have someone be proud of me. Dump him. Start making plans slowly to leave, sooner than later. Sure you can go to therapy and such, but after reading this sub and realizing your worth and needs should be met.... do you really wanna work through with someone who can’t even have the decency to help around the house or take you on a date? This is what my boyfriend is life. I’m horrified at the idea of marrying him.

Whew chile. I’ll keep it short. As of today, my boyfriend hasn’t spoken to me in 7 days. Idk what’s wrong with him, idk what was the trigger, he says he’s fine, I’ve left the house and he hasn’t reached out. I’d just like to thank him. This is my perfect way out of a loveless, shitty relationship with a dude who doesn’t deserve my smart and sexy ass. Moving into a friends basement apartment next week, the excitement to reveal I’m leaving him is bubbling inside me and I can’t wait to see the look…

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/06/20 07:18 AM

Whew that hurt!!! But it’s because we aren’t used to men making mature decisions. A usual dude would’ve just let you be long distance until the relationship fizzled our, he got “bored” and cheated on you because he didn’t have the courage to actually come to a logical solution and communicate. Definitely a lesson.

I totally agree and I wish women realized this. I’m 24 now but have been on a self-worth journey for sometime. I still have so much growing to do with unlearning toxicity. And for that? I’m okay with not meeting my dream equal partner right now because lowkey, I wouldn’t know what to do with him. I’m still figuring out what I need. “Any HVM in his 30+ will tell a queen in her 20s she is too young out of respect”. YES YES YES YES YES!!!!! 25 is still young enough to be groomed. This is really sad. You really have to accept the fact that your husband is trash when you just gave birth to his child. She’s coming to reddit for “advice” but essentially shes just venting cause she’s not gonna leave him and there’s not much she can do but deal with it. The mental gymnastics she is about to go through.......having a child with a man who ain’t shit is my deepest fear.

Girl YES! I’m like.... where they do that at? Is it Christmas? Ramadan? Valentine’s day? Why do men expect presents just because it was released and what does hat have to do with their girlfriends? Lmao
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/06/20 02:14 PM
12

Don’t feel bad about yourself. Obviously communication should be the first step, and cheating is bad. But like... it completely overshadows the fact that he wasn’t there for you and neglected you. It’s NOT your fault alone and his reaction kinda proves to me that “communicating about neglect” wouldn’t have worked anyways. I think a lot of women have these “emotional affairs” for that very reason. If he was doing what he needed to do as an adult man, you wouldn’t have even had time to get to know…

Yup. I was with an emotionless man for like 2 years. He let me have my independence and I loved that. I always went out with friends clubbing, always look cute going to work, always at a brunch or an event with no suspection of cheating. I had a Tinder account I didn’t tell him about to find some drugs for a camping trip (lmao) and one of his friends told him they saw me on there, with the intention I might be cheating. When I tell you this man that BARELY spends time away from his video games..…

Someone can explain it better, but when I think of spirituality I don’t think about church nor god, but rather my relation to the universe around me. I’m also agnostic but consider myself spiritual. So, similar, but I haven’t found a single bible I believe lol.

Men are so sad lmao this thread is nothing but positivity and uplift for women. They just mad because analyzing their lazy, stank-ass behavior is the case study.

Seriously. I thought it was crazy shallow wanting my ex to do more than just throw on a T-shirt and levi’s when (IF) we went out. The mental disconnect that I’m spending an hour + to look gorgeous when I go out with you vs his “what’s taking you so long?” is really the straw that broke the camels back. People respect you when they see you with ME - act accordingly. I’m not going to be bothered anymore with a man who doesn’t put on cologne. Seriously.

Girl, I want to beat your ass for not posting this a year ago (but most likely my own for not realizing the truth). I moved in with my bf after graduating to "save money", and I didn't have a full time job and was too mentally unstable to budget hustling. Moving in was "easy" at first and I got used to living there comfy, but the relationship has not progressed forever when it might've been doomed from the start. Everytime I decide to leave, the housing situation motivates me to "work it out" ev…

Omg girrllllll So lovely to hear this perspective. “Decent” is not good enough!!! I felt like a bad person for suuuuch a long time. But that’s the media brainwashing me to think that women wanting attention, compassion, romance and a provider in a mate is superficial. Boy bye 👋🏾

GOOD MORNING LADIES!! Talk that mf truth!!! Leaving a 3 year relationship was hard because I was like, “He’s “nice”. what if men are terrible to me and are cheaters?” And I had a full revelation when I asked myself....but what if we are WONDERFUL to us??? I want to date casually, sure, but it’s so much easy to let go knowing I will be walking in the divine power of a relationship with myself. Find out what you need to be stable. Specifically, setting a career plan and getting my personal finance…

Absolutely a phone call! That is soo smart, I should’ve done that with my ex. Nice but he was sooooo fucking boring on the phone and his voice was so weird but I let it slide, “trying to give him a chance”. My pussy dried up at the sound of his voice. Then I got stuck doing that for 2 years. Be careful ladies.
