There cannot be Socialism without the illusion of an oppressor. To stoke the fires of the downtrodden (women) to burn the "status quo" (the "Patriarchy") to the ground, you must convince them (women) that they have been under the "unfair" heel (the "Patriarchy") of their fellow man. It is easier to rid yourself of a thing you've had for a long time when your perception of it changes into something revolting that must be removed.

And now you sit on that box and hope you never have to use it. Live your life, and stay away from that girl. That's all the advice I can give on this.

Save everything, my dude. Especially something like that. Save the whole thing, and not just that line.

Save them. You never know somewhere down the line, they might be the only things between you and something nasty.

I reckon anything that disrupts a person's biological function to keep alive (suicide) is a biological issue.

Sadly, a lot of today's problems can be summarized thusly: We fight over an offence we did not give, against those who were not alive to be offended. A lot of this hate and prejudice is "inherited" to put it nicely, though "indoctrinated" is probably the more apt term here.

My own two cents: society as a whole has been conditioned to see the average man as a faceless statistic. So, no matter what happens to them, there is no outrage because why would you be concerned about a number on a page?

I used to think the same way, but all I can really tell you is to put yourself out there. Don't do any online dating, don't go out there with the mindset of: looking for a girl. When you go out there, you go out there because you're tired of being where you are and you want to change that.

*Ahem* Maybe the dudes who shared the other parking spaces got dinged one-too-many times.

You're forgetting one of the premier "played not for fun" movies around: Obsessed from 2009. EDIT: Forgot to add Wednesday. Although I like the show, and Jenna Ortega is great, the show does not shy away from what a very horrible person Wednesday (a strong, independent woman) is.

If you're talking about the "white man bad" sentiment, yeah, I agree that that has to go. I'm not white, I'm Asian, but it always bothers me how a lot of people get suckered into believing the "white man bad" BS. It just promotes hate, and that doesn't get anything done.

I'm not sure if these would count, but there're: Nobody, Bladerunner 2049, that new Top Gun movie I've heard so much about, and The Northman; for the movie that breaks a double standard: Obsessed. Don't go looking where the awards are, because the Academy is no longer as golden a benchmark as they would have you believe.

I don't know why, but I'm getting Rittenhouse flashbacks from this whole trial.

I love the woman. She's just misinformed.

It's more of the "Shut up, women have had it worse for years." argument that tells me that they're not in a listening mindset, so I don't say anything.

I've been pressured to be strong by my girlfriend because she needs: a "rock". She usually tells me that she wants a "strong" man when I wind up sharing my thoughts and feelings whenever she shares her thoughts and feelings; and this leads me to think that she has no idea what a "strong" man is, because the way it comes out, she thinks I'm weak. I don't give a hoot what I appear like to anybody I encounter. I only care that I am able to act accordingly when the situation calls for it. I find it …

True, that. These folks don't just happen, they're made.

I was pleasantly surprised when I watched The Batman. Batman and Catwoman got into a scuffle, and instead of turning it into an all-out brawl with a pretty big, buff man against a petite woman, he basically just picked her up and pinned her to a table so she wouldn't keep bothering him while he investigated. He treated her like an incredible annoyance instead of a threat, and I liked that.

My dad was the same way. He kept working years after his retirement and when he no longer needed to do so.

I honestly think retirement age should be based on profession and not something you blanket every business with. Some occupations are more taxing than others, after all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
