Once/if I get a job, I can definitely see myself getting really into investing. I know next to nothing about it now, but if I suddenly develop a passion or interest in something, I go crazy.

My mom is a great cook, could be a therapeutic experience for her to pass on some knowledge to me, who knows. I've been reading a ton of non-fiction, self-improvement books lately but I think I'm ready to lay off those a bit. Sort of serves as a reminder that I feel inadequate. I'm into weight lifting and fitness, any specific category within the realm of cooking I should focus on? Would hate to get good at cooking and subsequently become a fatass.

You're right. I'll start looking into some job opportunities. My major in college likely won't make me as much money out the gate as others, but it's something I'm interested in - for now, at least.

I’d definitely like to be able to appreciate the outdoors more. Might give hiking/camping a shot.

What do you personally find pleasurable in hiking? I’ve tried to hype myself to give it a try before, but some insight into how to appreciate it to its fullest would be great.

My car is from 1999 so I figure that’ll give me plenty of things to have to fix. I’ve never had a real job before so that’s in some part causing some anxiety. I’d probably like to have one, but I need to first replace my moms negative “motivational” tactics with some positive ones so I can go in with a good attitude.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
