I like this take, because it's so true. A good chunk of feminism and other equal rights groups want to have something to be offended or violated about. Without that, they don't have a voice. The don't care about equality, they care about the attention of being the victim, and they don't want it taken away.

This is true, but only for him acting as a consultant. The book royalties and likely the movie royalties that he gets from the movie are the same thing as the OP's example: netflix and hbo are working on shows based on her crimes, will they pay her? The sad truth is that if she is at all involved with the making of those shows, then she will be make money from it. If she's smart enough to write a book about her experiences (Like Frank Abagnail), then she'll make money off that too. It doesn't so…

Tell that to Frank abagnale. One of the best conmen in history enjoys a 6 figure salary from the FBI (the ones who had such a hard time catching him lol!) Coming up with fraud prevention for them as a consultant, And also enjoys royalties from his books, including the book "catch me if you can" which was what the studio used for the title of the movie. He may even be getting royalties from the movie too because of the book and the fact that he had a cameo in the movie. Shes going to be rich.

Even if that were the case, that little bit of CS dust that could (and that's a stretch for what we're seeing) have gotten into her eye really wouldn't have warranted that extreme of a reaction. She's definitely embellishing for dramatic effect. Source: I was in the Army and anyone that has ever gone into the CS gas chamber for training will tell you that it's not that fucking bad.

I think you missed the point. He could have simply said "not enough people supported our plus size initiative to make it viable. We feel that we would have the same lack of results with trans gendered line". Instead he chose to make a condescending shot at the models and their supporters and in turn sounded insensitive which in turn is also alienating anyone who does fit their model but is also sympathetic toward their attempt at pushing plus size products and models, let alone anyone transgende…
