3	It has taken too long for me to realise this but I don't have a problem with Feminism... I like this answer! Curiously I’ve noticed my question getting a few downvotes. I’m not bothered by it, but just wondering what the reason might be. I just want to be as informed as possible. If any one has downvoted it or is going to, then I’m curious to know the reasons why. 12	It has taken too long for me to realise this but I don't have a problem with Feminism... one can still support female advocacy and empowerment without subscribing to feminist ideology I completely agree with this! How do I make this point when talking to a feminist? I've told feminists that I'm not a feminist, but I am an advocate for equality, just to be told that by definition, I am therfore a feminist.
