I’d call it a grey area. She attempted to put a hole in his head with a high heel but failed when he turned around. At that point if he wants to help his friend (I assume), he has to decide whether he ignores her, or lays her out so she can’t attempt to attack him again. As she wouldn’t back down, it’s hard to say the former was a valid option...
