There is no argument to be made here on the ease of sterilization: Men have an infinitely easier time getting sterilized. If a doctor asks for your partner to sign off, there's a dozen others that won't. It is not a legal requirement. My wife at the time went to my consult with me. She was asked her opinion which of course we were united on, but she was never made to sign a single thing. This is a doctor's due diligence, not a law

conversely, I also had a vasectomy and was simply asked to watch a short video on regret. My wife at the time was with me but was not asked to sign off on anything

True, but there are plenty of employers who will see it and pass him over without a second thought in the interest of saving themselves any controversy. A hypothetical that I am imagining is that he does get hired somewhere even with the management aware of the situation, but some busy body makes a fuss big enough and most places will just cut him loose. Employers in this country feel no loyalty to their employees for the most part, despite any loyalty shown the other way around. A coworker of m…

This is the sad truth. As soon as the allegation is leveled publicly, it will follow you for years, if not the rest of your life. Any employer that Googles him from now on will see these stories and will undoubtedly be in some way influenced by them.

So let me get this straight, you expect me to spend my time not only finding a free copy of a textbook (because no way am I paying for it) but also reading almost 50 pages of material during my work day just so I can most likely show you how the text explains that you're wrong, as is so often the case with people who get their kicks arguing with strangers on the internet? And further that text from almost a decade ago is going to explain to me how cosmetic companies are racist because they don't…

I can't believe it took me this long to check your post history and see that you're somewhat of a professional troll. For that I commend you, you almost had me going there for a minute. I can't take anything you say seriously because you clearly don't believe your own words and purely want a reaction from people. Have a good day and I hope you work through whatever trauma caused you to be such a miserable cunt

Or more to the point, you got off on a tangent that you didn't know how to finish and now refuse to answer the overarching question of how the supposed lack of makeup for dark skinned people is due to some imagined and elaborate corporate racism, instead turning to personal attacks on my intelligence. You haven't actually said anything yet.

You spent all that time writing that to still not tell me how any of this relates to racism
/r/PussyPassDenied01/09/17 08:23 PM

You just proved my point. Demand begets supply, basic economics. It has absolutely nothing to do with racism. These companies are not making decisions based on a desire to not supply black people with makeup that is such an idiotic concept that I don't think even you believe it. They see money to be made, they take steps to get a piece of that profit. The demand was demonstrated via modern technology's collection of consumer data, the supply began. It has nothing to do with not wanting to sell t…

One has only to look at your post history to see which one of us is morally reprehensible. I'm willing to bet 10/10 people will say it's you.

Everybody knows trans people exist. Everybody knows they are not biologically the sex they identify with. It's not disingenuous to address them as such. What's disingenuous is you trying to convince yourself that you're not a cunt because you're "not lying to yourself". If you want to be an absolute disgrace at least own it.

You really think the people in charge of what new products to develop are ignoring the dark skin demo because of racism? That's retarded. 10/10 racists will jump on the opportunity to make millions if its there, hatred of the consumer will not stop anyone if there's a payday involved. Edit: just Googled "cosmetics for dark skin" and got a barrage of products from a number of large companies including L'Oreal. Saw some pretty fucking dark products. It's not me that's ignorant here.

How about the counter argument of human decency and not being a cunt? It harms no one to call this person a woman. That's the bottom line.
/r/PussyPassDenied01/09/17 05:34 PM

Again, if that's the supply it's because there isn't a demand to justify the cost of production for darker shades. A company isn't going to willfully produce a product they know won't sell as well as the rest of their line just to appease the handful of people asking for it. There needs to be significant demand for a product. There are smaller cosmetics companies that market to dark skinned women exclusively, you might not be able to get it in stores but you can order it online which is just as …

Why do you care so much? It doesn't affect you just call people what they want to be called, within reason.

Sure if you want to spend entire paychecks at sephora. Thank fuck my wife gets her makeup at Walmart, where I have seen every shade I can imagine. There is plenty of makeup for dark skinned people. If they're not selling it at sephora I'm sure there's a good reason i.e. the market isn't demanding it but like the other reply said, there's a certain point where adding black powder to black skin isn't going to accomplish much

I have no problem calling her a she if that's what she wants to be known as. I refuse to call anyone xe, Zhe, etc etc because I'm not retarded, but trans people have been around for millenia so I think your life won't be too inconvenienced by recognizing them.

"there wasn't makeup for minorities until recently" "there wasn't money to be made" Who does she think has been wearing the darkest foundation powders and creams and whatnot? They've been making that shit for decades. Cosmetic companies are not stupid enough to have missed the profit margin on ethnic makeup all these years. Makeup for black women has been around since at least the late 70s. This bitch is retarded.

I'm confused on two fronts: are you questioning my use of "affect" because I'm 99% sure I used it correctly. The second half, are you referring to the fetus carrier? Basically I'm confused as to whether you agree with me or not

Birth control can fail. Condoms can rip. It shouldn't matter what led to the unwanted pregnancy. What matters is that you can't dictate what women can and can't do with their own bodies. It has no affect on you, it isn't harming you in any way, let people live their goddamn lives the way they choose so long as it doesn't harm others. And no, the parasite in the womb of a woman who doesn't want children does not qualify as one of those "others".

So because other people can't have children, that means the people that don't want children should forfeit the right to terminate pregnancy if they have the misfortune of conceiving? And no, we don't all know of problems with foster kids. Please, enlighten us with your vast and absolute knowledge of the foster system. then elaborate on why you think kids who have been dealt a shit hand in life should pay the price of not having a family because you and people like you don't want the inconvenienc…

I drove for uber just long enough to realize how much of a scam it is. The people that have been doing it a while are either bad at math or live/drive in a SUPER convenient area where theres always surge pricing and no over saturation of drivers
