Be carful with a career in coding - that was hot but since it can be done anywhere and now that offshore sites have huge staffs of trained coders much of that is going to the lowest bidder. I think the best path for most men is the trades - you did mention welding but there are many other that pay great, are in high demand, and cannot be outsourced.

Very few people can actually live out of hotels 4-5 days a week ongoing. It gets very old and tiring after some time for most people. Keep in mind they are really only good if you carry and most states are very restrictive. Good news is TX just past a law i believe allowing concealed carry no license needed. AZ is like that and so are a few other states. I carry anytime I go out shopping etc. and for places that sell alcohol where they arent allowed it remains in my locked car. Really depends on height, weight and activity level. Best is to download an app like MyFitnessPal and track your food intake. Most people's metabolism is messed up and you will find you need to eat less than you think. If you get or are physically active you will be able to slowly add calories. I'm up to 2500 and still maintaining whereas 9m ago if I ate more than 2100 I would gain.

I'm 6'1" and 185lb and workout 4-5 days a week. So at 2500 cal a day I barely maintain! So this meal is less than half my day so I can still have a nice snack and another great meal and be at 2500!

Not even close! Made with Kodiak mix which is higher protein and I use sour cream instead of whipped as the tart goes so well with the berries. And only 2 tbsp of real maple syrup. ​ 72 carbs, 74 fat and 44 protein for 1144 cal. This includes 5oz of spicy breakfast sausage. ​ And considering it is my cheat meal for the week it is way better than most cheat meals!

Great job! Steak is easy just make sure to let it sit out for 30m to come to room tempuature. Then get a cast iron pan and heat on med high for 5m or just until it starts to smoke. Slap your steak on with a loose cover for 3m, flip and cook 3m more, then removwe from the pan and let reat for 5m before cutting into. That is for about a .75 to 1 inch thick steak. 2m per side if under and 3.5 to 4 if over depending on how thick.

At our age, your +800 level goal would be to simply maintain. No more weight, but maybe try for more reps at that weight! Keep rocking it brother! You are where I want to be! My bench is only 175 due to some shoulder pain and my squat is only 200 as I spent months just working bon form and getting my back and hip flexibility needed. I'm sure I can get squat to 250 and bench to 200 and dead to 325 in the next 6m.
