I work in Tech and I've had a couple basically put me down because I wasn't some kind of entrepreneur with my own company and making good money. Hell, somebody has to do the real work. 1	Female acquaintances admitted they believe women are the bosses in marriage and don't care about equality. Re-affirms my choice to never marry. In a traditional marriage, the woman pretty much is the boss of the home. It's her job. Care for the children, feed everyone, clean, budget. It's the man's job to bring in the resources. And in exchange for bringing in the resources the man had a home, children he had confidence in were his and access to regular sex.
