Little late to the thread, but the difference between the two is that JP's arguement is that all people have the capability to be equal, whereas in the show they are basically saying that all men are inherently like that and need to be taught not to be. Edit: evil not equal

Except that, but for a very few exceptional women, men are literally better suited physically for that type of situation. I don't agree with the draft, nor do I think it is fair that only men are required to sign up, but, as a woman, I think that I and most other women would be useless on the battlefield to the point of getting other soldiers killed.

I can't watch the video atm, but I agree with the title. Master of none and bojack horseman are both good shows that I enjoy watching, but in a few episodes there are scenes that I lost immersion due to unfactual feminist propiganda and man hating. I'm not sure if it was meant to be satirical or not, but out there are people who took it as fact, and that bugged me.

It depends on who you're talking to. Imagine the types of people this woman normally talks about the movement with; it's safe to assume the majority are feminists. If that's the case then the MRM would be controversial to them. Definitely a little rediculous to say it's as controversial as holocaust deniers, but controversial, none the less.

Thanks for sharing, that was very interesting. It's amusing how after being confronted for generalizing all women the blonde lady continues to spout the phrase, "all women." I wonder how she would feel if the one male on the panel repeatedly used that phrase. Also, the random heavy breathing guy was incredibly distracting lol.

We shouldn't be getting upset about comedy, it's art, and is bound to offend some people. The two things we should be pissed off about are, one, the prison system that leads to men being raped and women being impregnated by guards; and, two, people who will laugh at this and then cry injustice if the genders were reversed.

I don't know, I think that 99% of feminists who talk about rape culture genuinely believe what they're saying, otherwise they wouldn't become so vitriolic when they had their views challenged. Think about it. It's all over the media, it's being taught as truth in schools. I can understand why so many of them would believe in rape culture, despite not having experienced it first hand. Like many issues today it's a matter of education.
